barely adequate for my use, exactly $97 worth of press
bought this to press out some control arm bushings, should have probably got the 12 ton instead. bushings were within its operating capabilities and turned out fine but it struggled with lower ball joints. pressing out, there was a bit of a violent pop that ejected the jack completely from the frame, catching me off guard and only narrowly avoiding injury. pressing ball joints in however, was a more fiddly matter. it was unable to provide enough pressure to force the new ball joints straight in on center, the overload bypass works. i was able to overcome this by working the edges in a circle pressing a little at a time until about 90% in then returning to center to finish it out, at near max output of the press it was able to make the last bit in a violent pop to seat the ball joints. the orange paint is not a permanent coating to protect the press, it is merely there to indicate if you have used it at all as it flakes off on contact with anything. the 2 pieces of black plate it comes with are very convenient that they are included however will bend permanently well before the 6t max is ever reached, i suggest getting thicker plates if you plan to use this regularly. actually, i suggest getting a 12t unit if you plan to use this at anything close to it's limit. idk what the parts are all called so i'm going to go with deck height adjustment pins. those are fine, the holes in the frame that accept the pins though, not particularly skookum, all wallowed out already. hell, the deck has a good sag to it too now. so while it seems to be engineered to survive the forces of the 6t jack it's built around, i can honestly say it only just barely does that. this is at best hobby quality, for home light duty use, dont count on it lasting a week in a commercial workshop and is priced accordingly. do not attempt to put any larger jack in this frame, it may just kill you and if you want it to last forever it might be better suited to maybe a 3t jack. so while my results were sub optimal, i know i was asking too much of this tool and my experience with it is my fault. except the paint, the paint could be much better. so weighing all things here, i'm giving this 5 stars overall not because its a great press, it isnt, but because it is exactly the $97 worth of press i paid for and it did what i asked of it when i should have bought $167 worth of press.

Excellent!!! Has paid for itself over and over again.
I've had this press for a long time now, and it has paid for itself with all the work it has done. Has no trouble pressing ball bearings into engine crankcases, pressing ball bearings onto shafts, popping ball joints out of bushings, pressing pins, etc. Anything I've needed it for, it worked great! Assembly was challenging but i was able to do it alone just fine. The package was wet with alot of oil that leaked, and it is still pretty oily to handle. But it holds pressure and works perfectly so idc. It's just a minor inconvenience, but my work space is dirty as hell anyways so it doesn't even matter 😂 The video is slow motion of pressing out the ball joints on my ford fusion. Breaking free a 15 year old press fit.

JUNK .it just bends very very [ DANGEROUS ] weak steel.
the 12 ton bent the cross bars that hold the parts . the very first time i tried to use it the pump should have a pop off valve before the press gives out very [ DANGEROUS ] be extra careful . Would like new parts or refund or new press . cant get help from Vevor . this should have a recall on them before someone gets hurt bad or worse. good luck getting them to respond

Good value for the money, but…
This is a pretty decent shop press for the home mechanic that is doing occasional light to medium duty work. I have used it to R&R the shafts and bearings on commercial lawn mower spindles, straighten a slightly bent shaft and repair some misaligned clamping tools. It worked flawlessly in those applications and will be a great addition to my shop. Also, its compact size and modest weight make it easy to move and store. On the negative side you must tighten the work beam down securely in order to keep the legs from being wobbly. This prevents you from quickly & easily adjusting the height up or down on the adjustment pins. Also, Vevor would be well advised to include longer and better quality fasteners with the press, many bolts are barely adequate and some are too short. Finally, I’m a little concerned about the relief valve on the bottle jack which feels a little wonky and takes a lot of force to fully close. Hopefully it won’t start leaking down when under pressure. All in all it’s still a good value for the money and I would purchase it again (along with some better nuts, bolts and washers).

Great budget press that is great for differential work
To get 70 lbs of steel and cardboard delivered to my house for $91 and have those parts come together to create a press as robust and useful as this is nothing short of amazing. Assembly was quick and simple - although the shoe of the bottle jack was not in place and under spring tension when it came out of the box. I bought it to rebuild a differential, and so far it has done everything I have asked thus far. As with every press, the 'trick' is finding junk around the shop to use as spacers and press arbors. It should be useful as long as it holds together and I don't try anything stupid with it. This press undercuts the price of the least expensive press at HF by a lot of money!

Solid piece of kit at a good price. Bought to push out suspension bushes and does the job well. I had issues in the initial delivery but Amazon's customer service was excellent and the problems were resolved within a couple of days.
