It seems to be working. My hair stylist noticed that my hair seems thicker and stronger.

This product has made my hair grow faster and is much healthier than it was before I started using it.

I have dry hair and my scalp can be dry at times too. I've always shed a lot throughout the day, so I decided to give the Kerasilk Redensifying Scalp Serum a try. This has a light fragrance and smells nice. Because my hair is fine, I have a hard time finding products that don't make my hair look greasy and this product doesn't do that. I'm able to give my scalp a few spritzes, massage it in, and go about my day. It's in a glass bottle and the spray pump works well. It's a bit pricier than I would normally spend, but it takes little product, so I feel it will last quite a while. I recommend it!

I was eager to try this serum because my hair is thinner than it ever has been in my life – after my last baby was born, a ton of it fell out and hasn’t ever regained its old density. I have very fine, long, straight hair that tends to be oily, so I was concerned that a scalp serum would make it worse. Thankfully, this doesn’t have that effect – I can put it on overnight and my hair is just the same in the morning, not extra oily. The serum is a spray and is pretty easy to apply to the scalp without getting all your hair damp. It has a definite hair product scent – I didn’t find it bothersome, but if you’re sensitive to smells, use it with caution. It lasted for several hours. As for the effectiveness in redensifying my scalp, I’ll give it a solid maybe. I’ve been using it a couple times a week for a little over a month now, and I’m starting to notice a lot of super short baby hairs turning up (about ½” long, which is about how much my hair grows in a month). With long hair like mine, it will be a long time (years!) before the new growth catches up to the ends, but it looks promising so far. I’ll update this review if it turns out to be super effective or a total flop down the road.

This is a great scalp serum. The formula is light and has a pleasant smell, it doesn't smell chemically or concerning at all. I'm glad that it is not tested on animals and that it seems fairly considerate of the formula. It comes in a thick glass container (so be careful where you place it if you're using it the shower and tend to drop your containers) with a smooth pump. You don't need a lot and it doesn't make my roots or scalp feel greasy or unpleasant.Biggest consideration with purchasing this will be the value for you. It is on the higher end of pricing for hair products but I find that the quality of the overall product is really nice. It is a professional brand quality that may or may not be worth it for each individual person but it's a really nice product. Would probably make a great gift.

This comes in an outer product box. It’s made in Germany. It says it’s a vegan formula. Ingredients are listed on the box. It contains denatured alcohol as the 1st ingredient, so if that’s a problem you might want to skip it. It also has added fragrance as the last ingredient.This comes in a nice, thick glass bottle. The top has a spray with a really thin tip. There’s a kind of cap over it to keep it from being pressed down accidentally.For use it says to apply evenly to scalp. Massage and leave on. Use daily to achieve desired results.This mostly caught my eye bed ause it was a leave-in treatment. So many treatments need to be applied and left on for a bit (15 min, 30 min, etc.) and then rinsed out, which usually keeps me from using it as often as I’d like if it was leave in. I don’t have time for all that 😂 So, seeing I just apply this and leave it on, I was excited to try it! My hair has always been kind of weird. It’s an odd mix of perfectly straight hair, perfect curls, wavy, a mix of them, and I don’t even know what’s going on with some of them. If I let it dry on its own, it looks pretty crazy with all of that mixed but it doesn’t have much volume. If I blow dry it, I get more volume but need to straighten it so it doesn’t look crazy. Once I straighten it, it’s always kind of flat with no volume at all. It’s also usually really frizzy. As I’ve gotten older, my hair has become thinner and has even less volume to it. I’ve also noticed a lot of hairs coming out. So I was looking for a good treatment to help improve that and this being pretty low maintenance (being able to apply it and leave it) and the claims of protecting against hereditary hair loss, and strengthening roots and increasing density for thicker hair, it seemed like it was a great option for me!This is easy to apply right at the root. The thin point on the tip of the sprayer allows me to get right at my roots and then I can massage it in. The sprayer is a nice, fine, even mist. It doesn’t soak my hair or anything. Given my hair is thin and flat, I was worried the serum would weigh it down and/or make it look greasy (since a lot can do that). Fortunately, this is really lightweight. I’m not sure if it’s because it has alcohol as the 1st ingredient or what. But, it is very thin, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy/weighed down or oily/greasy. In fact, it doesn’t even feel as if I’d applied anything to my hair at all. But, it does help reduce the frizziness of my hair. Most products I apply specifically to reduce my frizziness help, but end up weighing my hair down. The fact that this was completely weightless and I didn’t even notice it in my hair (it didn’t leave any residue behind, didn’t leave it weighed down, and didn’t leave it looking or feeling oil/greasy), was a HUGE bonus for me! That alone made me want to continue using this daily!As for this reducing hair loss, strengthening roots, and increasing density - I’m not sure yet. I definitely feel like since I’ve been using this daily for 2 weeks I haven’t been having much hair fall out at all. Before I’d constantly have hairs coming out in my brush, in the shower when I washed my hair, when I straightened my hair, etc. But since I’ve been using this daily, it started to improve where it was less and less coming out. Now I only have a few hairs once in a while coming out! I haven’t noticed any increase in my density yet. But it’s definitely helped strengthen my roots and keep my hair in my head plus it’s made my hair nice and smooth and reduces the frizz without leaving any residue or weighing down my hair! Those things on their own would make me purchase this when I run out! Hopefully, I will see increased growth though too!This has T-Flavanone in it, which is well known for treating androgenic alopecia (AGA) in men and thinning hair in women. Specifically, it’s a a derivative of astilbin that actively stimulates hair growth. There’s been a lot of studies on it for hair loss and and has been proven to help stimulate hair growth. The flavanone found in the ingredients (Dimethylhydroxy Dihydroflavone) is the 5th ingredient, so I was happy to see it was actually up at the top and not way down at the bottom!Along with the T-flavanone, it also has quite a few other ingredients known to help strengthen hair, reduce hair loss, and/or help hair grow….Hydrogenated Castor oil (10th ingredient out of 20). Castor oil is a well known natural treatment to help hair growth healthier and thicker. It’s known to deeply condition and moisturize hair and scalp, eliminate dry hair, prevent dry scalp, reduce and prevent hair damage (hair breakage, split ends), increase hair growth, thicken hair that’s starting to thin out, make hair fuller and shinier, and boost hair’s overall health.Panax Ginseng Root Extract (12th ingredient). Ginseng has been shown to improve scalp’s overall health and promote hair growth. Some studies found it to increase production of hair follicles and improve overall structure of hair and improve hair growth and thickness.Apigenin (14th ingredient), which has been shown to stimulate hair growth.Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, which is a 3 amino acid peptide where the collagen fragment Tripeptide-1 (GHK) is combined with Biotin. The combination is claimed to help reduce hair loss by helping strengthen hair and helping hair stay in place (it’s also known to help eyelashes grow and I’ve seen it in lots of lash growth serums). It’s been shown to boost new hair growth more than 100% along with reducing hair loss by more than 50%. Unfortunately, it’s pretty low on the ingredient list (16th out of 20 ingredients). I’m not sure how much of it is needed to be effective. There’s lots of ingredients that are effective in very low concentrations (like retinol for the skin), so being low on the ingredient list doesn’t always mean it won’t be effective. Haven’t been using it long but it is easy to use and has a mild pleasant scent. Can’t tell it’s in my hair which is good

I’ve only been using it for about 10 days.After I wash my hair, but before I put on my hair styling products, I spray about 5-6 spritz in my hair. Smells nice, and it doesn’t weigh down my hair. I have noticed I’m not losing as much hair while shampooing & brushing. I’m assuming it’s this product helping my scalp and hair at the root. I worry about my hair thinning because as my mother got older, her hair thinned a lot. We’ll see after a month how my hair is doing.EXPIRATION DATE: NONE!I always check for expiration dates before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. The expiration date tells me whether a product has been sitting somewhere on a shelf or an idea of when manufactured for distribution. This product does NOT have an expiration date, likely because it is not required.It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives exceptional results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.
