I don’t think any item in this price range will be truly heavy duty and perfect — this is thick enough plastic but not very heavy duty. Little kids tried sliding on it, the less adventuresome kids just liked the spraying water (it’s a little like a very low intensity lawn sprayer). The difficulty is that every bump that exists in the lawn, will be felt through the plastic, so try to find a super-smooth part of your lawn to out it down on. And it’s nice as one of several distractions if you’re throwing a big party and you want some things for little kids (e.g. 3-8 years old).

We bought this for my 6-year-old son for the summer. It is fun and we enjoy the squirt gun attached to it. That being said, it's not very durable and like another reviewer said, you have to get the position of the sides just right for the water to squirt up and not out.

This product was great for one summer for the kids but didn’t last another summer. Was working great for about a month or two but after that it started to wear down and not work correctly.

I'm sorry but it didn't work good at all. My grands slid down it less thank 5 times and it kept bunching up and I had to pull the sides out. They lost interest in it.

we only use this three times since it was purchased and the seam that attaches to the main water reservoir ripped open so now this entire thing is useless. Poorly manufactured, not like the old slip n slides. I cannot recommend this product.!

Box was a slightly damaged. Product arrived very quickly as was exactly as described. Grandkids will love this for summer.

Quand j’ai reçu le colis, on sentait bien que la matière n’était pas très résistante, j’ai fait une fête dans mon jardin et c’était pour occuper les enfants (ils étaient 4 et que des petits en dessous de 8 ans) il n’a tenu que l’après-midi, et il a craqué de partout. Bon c’était le minimum que je lui demandais, qu’il tienne au moins l’après-midi, Mais ça fait cher pour qu’une après-midi !

The connecter is not compatible with my hose, I've had many slip and slides and this is the first to not work. Can anyone advise what adaptor is needed?

We have only had it one summer so I can't speak to longevity, but my kids have put it through a pretty decent beating so far this year. They also do a generally terrible job of putting it away when they are done so it has spent more than a few nights outside, half emptied, crumpled up, and no issues to note so far. You need to wait a few minutes for it to fully fill up and create enough internal pressure to start the fountains along the side, once they start you will need to adjust the edges to angle them inwards so the slide stays wet. From time to time they will move out of place but it's a relatively simple fix. The water gun on the side is a fun extra, my youngest uses it to stand there and pelt his older brother when he's not sharing the slide enough. Hours of fun!

Doesn’t work. Hose pipe on full and barely a trickle on the mat and nothing coming through the gun. Tried to find a blockage but nothing apparent. One very disappointed little girl on her birthday :-( Ended up using the garden sprinkler to spray it with instead, at least we got some use out of it for her big day as just a slide, but feel I’ve overpaid for what is essentially a plastic sheet. Was hoping a Nerf branded one might be better, but alas not. Wouldn’t recommend this.
