My favorite pen!
I recently picked up a pack of the Pentel EnerGel Kuro Liquid Gel Pens, and I have to say, I’m really impressed. The 0.7mm medium line gives a nice, smooth writing experience that feels great on paper. I love the black ink—it's rich and dark, making everything I write stand out clearly. What I appreciate most is how quickly the ink dries. There's nothing worse than smudging your notes or a letter, especially if you're a lefty like me. These pens dry fast enough to avoid that issue, and I can write without worrying about any smears. The design of the pen is also comfortable to hold, making it easy to write for long periods without my hand getting tired. Plus, with a five-pack, I never have to stress about running out of my favorite pen anytime soon. Overall, if you’re looking for reliable pens that are smooth, quick-drying, and comfortable to use, I definitely recommend giving the Pentel EnerGel Kuro a try!

NEWEST PEN OBSESSION - from a pen snob
The art of finding the perfect pen is a long journey for one such as myself - a stationary addict constantly searching for that next hit of dopamine from a product well purchased that will change my world. While most probably don't care about what pen they use, I've perfected my taste to that of the 0.7 gen pens various companies produce. The odd thing is, I'm not a big fan of the Energel, but the KURO version has made me put down my Inkjoys for the time being. There are pluses and minuses to this pen if I'm to be picky. The TLDR version is I love it, the ink, and it's currently my favorite that I reach for - but if I'm honest, there are a few things I wish would be done. - the body is great - sleek and black, no writing on the side, which I prefer, but this means the writing is on the clip part and it's done in a gold that seems to not stay on well - which leaves this tiny area looking like a used pen even when it's new... it has the look and feel of a rich pen in all but this - It feels great and there's no grip insisting I write from a particular position - this is why it beats out the BIC Gelocity (it makes me hold the pen higher than I like) - The ink is brighter and feels more liquid than Inkjoy - at first I thought this would be a bad thing because I like a good opaque ink from any color, but it glides just a smidge easier due to this, and it's a nice change - the Black is BLACK ink, which gives a great contrast on paper, and it doesn't bleed or show up too heavily on the other side of the page (which, as a stationary snob, I never use anyway, but it's still a thing I judge) - It writes immediately, unlike the Sharpie gel pens which for whatever reason stutter a bit if they haven't been used for a day or so - so that's a big plus I do wish they had a 1.0 option like Inkjoy and Sharpie, but this set of pens is well worth it. 5/5 stars

Write smoothly, long lasting, great for charting and note taking
These are great quality pens. I use them daily in my studies and employment. They work great for charting- the flow stays consistent, doesn't skip, and doesn't smear in my experience. I'm impressed with the longevity of the ink, they last quite awhile even with daily use. Another thing I like about these pens is they don't leak all over my scrubs, which has been my experience with similar styles of pens. I am able to put these in my scrub pockets for my whole day or shift, and never had any leaking, which is something important to me ( at least 3 other big name pen brands have leaked to varying degrees in my scrubs, and once through my lab coat.) These are very comfortable to write with, even if you do a lot of writing. I think the quality is worth the price, and am pleased with the purchase. They are available in other colors, but for my purposes I use the black ink. I'm sure the colors work just as well. I definitely recommend them, and would suggest not letting too many people "borrow" your pens, because they'll love them too, and not return them.

Pen lover loves this pen
I would classify myself as a bit of a pen snob and I love this pen. The ink writes smooth, smudges if you touch it right after you've written, and stays inky black after drying. That might be one of my biggest office supply icks, the ink turning a gray black. The pen is comfortable in your hand and the smooth outer shell is soft to the touch. I highly recommend this pen if you're as particular as I am about your ink.

A personal preference
Writing implements are a personal matter and each individual has different needs. These are very smooth writing, I would even prefer a little thicker but these make up for it in smoothness. I give 5 stars because: it offers an even, smooth uninterrupted flow of ink especially suited for cursive writers and the grip is especially nice, made from a type of silicone but doesn't have a "rubbery" feel. I have made a note to repurchase if I haven't found the "next great pen" which I am always in search of. I found this particular pen via a review of several pens on YouTube. Two were chosen from a group of five and the Pentel EnerGel Kuro #07 was found to be the superior choice...for me. You may find it otherwise however this marks the second time I have found an agreeable writing product made by a Japanese company. The first was a calligraphy pen. The Japanese have a long history with writing as an art form and it shows with the Pentel.

The Only Pens I Buy!!!
These have become my favorite pens. Smooth precise tip with no skipping while writing. I just hope they don’t stop making them anytime soon.

Smooth but does not dry fast enough on smooth paper
The pen is great and all, however, it simply does not dry fast enough on smooth paper. On rougher paper it is great and dries well. For both types of paper it is very smooth and has a distinct sounds when you are writing with it. The color is also nice and dark.

I’ve only ever used Pentel Energel pens….for years now! These ones are by far the cheapest pens feel wise. Assuming they are a knock off version? Not happy with them at all!
