YoLink Smart Water Shut Off Kit, Three Water Sensors, 3/4" Stainless Steel Motorized Valve

Whilst the idea and product looks good it should not be used in Uk/Europe. The first problem was that it wud not connect via the hub that came with the detectors I bought separately. It comes with its own and after consulting with the manufacturer came to the conclusion that I shud simply have 2 hubs. Now having tried to have it fitted today it comes to light that it is not WRAS approved and as such shud not be connected in the UK. In addition Uk fitments will not enable it to be connected to your pipe work here.Such a shame, having had a failed tap flood 2 floors and 9 rooms of my house, I thought I had found an economic and effective way to avoid a future occurrence.I see there is now a disclaimer saying products from the USA may differ. I don’t remember spotting it until today, however, as the product is useless here Amazon should take some responsibility and I’m about to contact them.Yokink told me they don’t sell this product outside the USA but it appears something has slipped thru the net or it’s an Amazon default to make the product available here.
