I have a few Topdon tools now and each of them have become a valuable part of my toolkit. This battery and charge tester is no exception. I work on various machinery from cars to large agricultural machinery where often the battery can be several meters away and well out of sight from the driver’s seat which means crank testing is often a two person job but not with this tester not only can tests be run from the device but also via an app on my phone which makes it ideal in this application.Battery results are clearly displayed on the device screen. And if you use the app the results can be saved to your phone and forwarded to anyone in your phone contacts.Both the interface of the handheld device and the app is intuitive and visually clear.I would recommend this tester to DIYers and professionals alike.

Excellent product and a huge upgrade since the Topdon Non Bluetooth Tester.I am an Apple user so the product software was easy to find in the App store.The software was simple to navigate and very user friendly and i have used it on two BMW and a Audi all the tests were accurate and when checked against a multimeter the readings were the same.I'd highly recommend this nifty little gadget and takes up no space in my van glovebox so is small and very practical unlike the older bulkier battery testers. Its also very durable so its not delicate and I am sure if dropped it would continue to work we all can be clumsy after a long day of fixing cars!

The media could not be loaded. This is an easy to use battery tester. Works well with the iPhone app (android also available).But also works well on its own with the easy to navigate menu.Tested a past it’s best AGM battery as well as a decent wet flooded battery. The results were pretty much what I expected but nice to have it confirmed without spending a fortune!

Item is ok works dosent support all types of batteries stuggled to find my battery on the tester also does not connect to Bluetooth for the app tried it on 4 diffrent devices and still cant connect it so only givin it 1 star

Really good product.Small and compact so fits in the tool trolley nice and neat.The Bluetooth connects instantly without any input and being Bluetooth it makes it really easy to do things like crank tests where you need to keep the rmp up. You can control it all from your phone or tablet while sat in the car (in the warm).I tested this against higher end products and got the same results and level of detail for a fraction of the price of the big name brands.

I brought the unit as damaged goods ie minor scuffs, when received it the unit was actually in excellent condition, the cardboard with in the plastic packaging was damaged. The unit worked well locally to the battery but I got it for the bluetooth side of it so I can carry out the tests with in the car without keep getting in and out of the car when testing via the units screen but I was unable to get the bluetooth side to work for what ever reason I could not get it to connect with my phone, I download the App and had several attempts trying to connect but with no avail, I refreshed the bluetooth settings on my phone, rebooted the phone, updated the App software from Topdom and after quite some period of time I gave up and have now returned the unit and brought myself a Sealey BT3000 which works very well.

Preferably one of the best tools to check battery's and more. Easy to use and set up once you have the app you get even more.Performance of to tool is out standing fast and accurate testing of all starting and charging systems and also a good price 👍

This battery tester was recommended to me by a friend of mine who only recently got one. So far I am very happy with it. If you want to do some quick tests you just hook it up and you're good to go. However if you connect it to your phone then you have more data available and it's nice to have a larger screen. You can also take the phone with you and look at the data while you're doing cranking tests etc. A very handy piece of kit.
