Sunflower Seeds, Original Flavor, Stocking Stuffer, 5.25 oz. (Pack of 12)

I've been eating DAVID sunflower seeds since I was a kid in the late 1960s playing Little League baseball. The quality, flavor and freshness hasn't changed much and the only real difference is the packaging. The resealable bag help to keep the seeds fresh after opening. I like to buy these seeds by the 12 bag box that last a long time. The price per bag is comparable to local grocery or big box retailer options. If you enjoy sunflower seeds, DAVID has many options from lightly salted to flavors such as ranch and chili-lime. I recemmend them all.

Hi there folks, I've been eating these seeds ever since I was a little kid in the 60s. It is probably an addiction. My father taught me how to eat them - you throw a handful in your mouth, move them over to your left cheek, crack them open on at a time, spit out the shells, and munch the kernels on the right side. Sometimes, I'll crack them, spit out the shells, and store all the kernels in my right check until all the seeds are cracked, then I'll munch all the kernels at once. I only recommend this if you're an experienced seeder. I can remember back when they were David & Sons. Sometimes, while eating my seeds, I contemplate what ever happened to David's sons. Did he fire them? I hope they weren't met with foul play... Way back when, my brother and I used to sit on our back porch in Modesto eating seeds and spitting the shells out on the lawn. They say that the shells are bad for lawns, but we never noticed any problems - probably because our dog Boots would see the shells land, and scarf them up like he was starving. Unfortunately, the poor dog's digestive system didn't process the shells very well, and the next day he was having some trouble with his morning ritual. I received these seeds in great condition. The box they came in was nice and thick, and each bag I opened had nothing but nice, fresh, tasty seeds, without the bunch of dust that sometimes forms in bags that sit on the shelf for a while. Better than the gas stations. I will only buy them on Amazon from now on! Seeds were fresh, not stale and easy to reseal. The amount of salt was good!

More than likely, you have experienced David Sunflower Seeds before. If you have not, give them a try, they are probably the best you will find. What really makes this particular product great is the price. If you eat sunflower seeds on a regular basis, have a family or friends who like seeds, or have a baseball/softball team, this is for you. If you buy this and subscribe, you get the case of 12 packs for $10.66 with free shipping. That comes out to about $0.88 per bag of seeds. Most stores charge $1.59 or more for a bag of seeds, plus tax! When I ordered my seeds, the expiration date was almost a full year in the future (plenty of time to tear through 12 bags of seeds). My favorite brand. Well salted. Sometimes you get small pieces of wood and rocks in the bags. But it is to be expected I suppose?

Pero me llegaron con muy poco tiempo de su fecha de caducidad prácticamente un mes y pues como son para mi solo no tengo pensado comerme 12 bolsas de semillas en un mes Te recomiendo que las entregues con más tiempo en la fecha de caducidad para comerse una bolsa debes en cuando!
