I was looking for Peppermint Essential oil in a larger quantity than the normal 5 or 10 ml because I use it for so many purposes such as to make an anti itch rinse for my scalp and to use in my diffuser to discourage pests and help me sleep. The scent is perfect, the very essence of peppermint and the quantity and price are exactly what I was hoping for. It seems to provide the itch relief needed for my scalp and along with Rosemary, Eucalyptus and Lavender oils works great in my nighttime diffuser to help me breathe easy while I sleep. However, I haven't had occasion to use it for pain relief and haven't had it long enough to rate it on longevity.

So I live in a suburban but urban city outside of DC. Some call it the "Boonies". I'm from DC so I'm used to bugs/critters, especially waterbugs after lots of rain. But my gosh, out here we've had literal infestations! Ants, flies, fruit flies, spiders, moths...etc. Every house in our neighborhood. It's Spring now and I'm bracing myself. Eventually, I got sick and tired of bug sprays, traps & the like so I googled "Natural ways to get rid of or deter______*. Essential oils popped up 1st & down the rabbit hole I went. I learned if you mix this oil w/water, a squeeze of dish soap, and other oils if needed or desired in a spray bottle; you might just have a great way of getting rid of those little twits. Plus, the area you spray will smell pretty darn good. Advice: a little dab or a few drops will do ya for sure!! 4 oz. is a lot and considering I've seen .5 bottles for the same price or higher...this brand is a good deal. Honestly, I save the oil bottles and droppers for other liquids, using a sharpie or stickies to relabel. Works for my needs. Hopefully it will for you too.

Well I think this is a very good product. It certainly clears your nose in a non-medical way. That is without inhaling certain chemical properties that you're afraid to inhale, and are also very expensive. And it would seem like it would last virtually forever. It is recommended for other things such as hair loss as well. I have used it on my hair whether or not it works for hair loss is another matter. I could detect no side effects. I think if you apply it directly to your scalp though it will burn your scalp similar to which minoxidol does

MICE AND DEER HATE THE SMELL OF PEPPERMINT. I USE THE PEPPERMINT OIL AS A DETERRENT TO KEEP MICE OUT OF MY KITCHEN DRAWERS. I KNOW WHERE THEY COME IN SO I REPEATEDLY PUT SOME OIL OUTSIDE WHERE THEY WOULD COME IN. BETTER THAN POISONOUS REMEDIES FOR MICE.

Love this stuff!! I add it to my baths & my body wash. When needed, I add a few drops directly on the achy spots right before getting in the shower or bath for that "lil extra" aid for joint relief.

I have been working so hard at not killing spiders and insects and instead learning about them to lessen my fears. However this doesn't mean I want to see any of them inside my house! Peppermint is a natural deterrent for a lot of different pests but it's safe to use without worrying about having to clean up bodies or worrying about my pets getting sick if they eat said bodies. I originally bought 1 4 oz bottle and filled up my for little reed diffuser things that I have placed at key entry points around my house. That was about 2 months ago - and they are still fragrant as heck! It's the first thing you smell when you walk in and it's amazing. I just reordered 2 more bottles as I do like to add a few drops to my plants once a month as it helps repel gnats as well. 10/10 love this stuff

using it to keep mice out of my engine bay. Place a few cotton balls in strategic locations in my engine bay, and every week or two, I place 3 or 4 drops of oil on the cotton balls and voila! so far, so good.

Nice smell, which the workshop mice seem to hate!
