These books are great. I have been reading them to my grandson for around 3 years. They grow with the child. The flaps inside the book are fairly robust. The story is great, the rhyming is good. My grandson has memorised the book but can now begin to recognise the words and spell them out.

Not the best book in the series, probably better topical read if your little one isn’t very well! Nice illustrations as usual and my toddler likes to lift the flaps. Good value (I paid £4).

Another beautifully written rhyming story from Julia Donaldson in the Acorn Wood series. The hardboard book is robustly made and suitable for little hands without the worry of ripping the flaps. Stunningly illustrated with vibrant characters and colours. Such a hit with our grandchildren.

My son loves this series of books. We have hours of fun reading the story over and over. The pages are good quality and durable. You can easily wipe them clean too.

Beautiful book and addition to the Acorn Wood series! My children especially enjoy the last pages where dormouse is at the acorn fair— always exciting to see a Ferris Wheel!
