Friedland Spectra+ is a range of wired and wireless PIR sensors designed to turn new or existing outdoor lighting into automatic lights for security, safety and convenience. The wireless range operates on 868MHz. This means the products now benefit from a less crowded frequency so they are less prone to interference from other wireless devices and the higher antenna output provides a stronger transmission enhancing the performance and range between the PIR and receiver. Operating on 868 MHz also means that Spectra+ is compatible with the Libra+ chimes systems and the 868MHz security ranges by Response. The upgraded Spectra+ range has been designed to look contemporary yet industrial and they now have 16A up-rated switching to allow control of LED, fluorescent loads and electronic ballasts. They are even easier to set up and install now too as they are already pre-programmed to each other. The Friedland Spectra + L620 BLK Wirefree PIR and receiver offer 12 metres of forward detection range and a 30 degree tilt. It can pan 45 degrees to the left and right and you can adjust the time on period to anything between 5 seconds and 20 minutes. It has a weatherproof IP rating of IP55 and it comes complete with an Infra-red remote control capable of a 5 metre range. It can control Tungsten halogen or incandescent lighting up to 2300W, Florescent tubes up to 600W and Compact florescent lamps – 20 x 20W. The PIR and receiver is available in black and white
