NialaquaTowel Off Dry Shampoo, Waterless No Rinse Shampoo, Travel , Outdoor Portable Shampoo 200 ml

This item came well packaged and the day after ordering as promised. I purchased the towel off shampoo for my mum who has been hit by a car and is currently in hospital with all limbs broken. My mum is bed bound so is unable to bathe/shower at the minute and I had previously purchased dry shampoo to freshen her hair and stop it from looking greasy. After using the dry shampoo for a while her scalp started to become very itchy with the build up of powdered shampoo so i took to the internet to find a solution and came across this. I am so happy with my purchase and so is my mum. I was a little dubious at first as it seem impossible that a shampoo which you dont wash out could deliver all the things this shampoo claimed to. After reading some other reviews I decided to give it a go and Im so glad that I did. Pros: Shampoo removes all build up of product and dirt from the hair The smell is very clean and fresh It is very easy to apply and towel off Leaves the hair feeling as thought it has been washed with usual shampoo and conditioner Only a small amount is needed each use making a bottle this size last a good amount of washes (10+ washes) on short hair. Con: The shampoo is very fluid (like water) this is ok after a couple of times using it as you get used to it. However, the first couple of uses it is very easy to just pour it on not realising this and making a mess in the process. Conclusion: I would recommend this to anyone who is caring for someone who is unable to bathe due to injury/operation. I love it.

Arrived very quickly and I am pleased with the way it washed my mum’s hair

Following significant surgery to my skull I was unable to wash my shoulder-length hair for 2 weeks while the wound healed under a dressing. Due to the possibility of infection, dry,spray-in shampoos, which are just a powder were not an option. And although I could probably wash most of my hair normally, I didn't want to risk getting the wound wet. A nurse at the hospital said she had heard another patient talk about trying Nilaqua and thought it worth mentioning. Nilaqua comes in the pictured bottle and has a consistency only slightly thicker than water. It's best to take a section of hair at a time and massage the product in. Once all the hair is coated, you then start to towel it out again. My observations are that the closer to the scalp you go, the more difficult it is towel out, as rather than rub, it's more effective to pull the towel down the length of the hair. I used a light coloured towel, and because there was a lots of dried blood and iodine in my hair I could see it was working effectively by what was on the towel. However, unlike after a normal hair wash, if your don't towel the product out effectively, the hair will clump together, and feel quite thick and greasy. So if you have a lot of hair to do, you make like to enlist some help. It's the kind of thing you could get a friend or family member to help you with while perhaps watching a film. Nilaqua definitely isn't a quick option, for that, dry shampoo will always be best. But for patients who have to avoid getting wounds on and around the head wet, it might be a good solution, particularly if while unable to wash your hair you have an event of something where you want to try and look your best for. I did find it a bit frustrating that Amazon have made this 200ml bottle as an add-on, when a 65ml bottle sells at a similar price and can be ordered alone. Even when I placed a larger order to get this item, it was dispatched separately and arrived a day sooner. Also, the bottle wasn't safety wrapped and doesn't' have a tamper-proof safety seal, so when removed from the packaging it was leaking a bit. But that can also be said of some shop-bought bottles.

Good shampoo when you have no water available

Why this shampoo has only 3 stars... I bought this shampoo for washing my dads hair, he has Alzheimer’s and is adverse to showering/bathing and I needed something that would be quick and easy. This was certainly very quick and very easy to use on his hair.. he has very little of it. It’s short. Very thin and he’s mostly bald... but this made his hair smooth, shiny , and look and smell good. And it took maybe 2mins to wash his hair, at the absolute most.. 5 stars for dad!! So... being exhausted I decided to try this on my hair! It’s longish, brightly coloured, fine and gets greasy quickly! The picture is an ‘after’ pic. I wish I had taken a before shot but I didn’t. Anywho, I applied the shampoo in sections and massaged into my roots, and then towelled off.. and rubbed, and patted, and rubbed and rubbed and patted and rubbed and... you get the picture!!! This was impossible to ‘dry’ and my hair felt thick, claggy and sticky. I have hair that looks and feels greasier than it did before and I have to wash it properly now. It has taken so much effort to ‘clean’ my hair with Nilaqua, that my Fitbit registered me as doing 9mins of exercise!!! It really would have taken less time and effort to shower!!! 1 star for me. So, ultimately, for myself, I will stick to dry powder for a quick I’m too exhausted to wash my hair, fix.... and I’ll keep using this for dad.. Mixed results.. total of 3 stars for the product!

This stuff is amazing, every disabled person who find it hard to wash their hair should know about this, my dad is on oxygen 24 hours a day, he can’t wash his own hair but with this he can do it himself, it leaves his hair really soft and has a really nice smell, I couldn’t prise it enough, so quick and easy to use and drys really quickly with the towel They also do a body wash that you will towel dry off

Bought this for my bed bound mother. Very easy to use , smells lovely and leaves hair silky soft Highly recommended

Pues he probado el producto está mañana con mi madre y no estoy conforme el champú no venia cerrado ni precintado parecía solo agua ni hace espuma ni nada ya había tirado la caja del embalaje sin darme cuenta no se si sera porque se a manipulado o venía mal, nunca me había pasado con ningún producto pero es raro que no viniera cerrado.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einer Alternative zum tägliche Haare waschen. Die Idee eines Shampoos ohne Wasser klang gut. Die Anwendung ist auch simpel, einfach Shampoo in die Haare, durchmassieren und antrocknen. Nur leider hält die Wirkung der so gewaschenen Haare nur sehr kurze Zeit. Nach ein paar Stunden waren die Ansätze wieder fettig und die Haare fühlen sich eigenartig an. Ich werde wohl wieder zu Trockenshampoo wechseln. Das hält wenigstens einen Tag.

J'ai commandé ce produit car ma mère étant gravement malade. Elle est définitivement alitée et on ne peux donc lui laver correctement les cheveux. Mais ce produit est un vrai miracle. Au début je n'y croyais pas car ayant les cheveux très gras je me suis dit que ça ne fonctionnerai pas et que ça pouvait même aggravé la situation. Et bien pas du tout, il lave bien et laisse une très bonne odeur de propre et de pomme. Je lave les cheveux de ma mère comme si c'était un shampooing normal, je lui sèche avec une serviette et un sèche cheveux et ses cheveux sont aussi beau qu'avec un shampooing classique. Dommage que le prix soit exorbitant.

以前から使っていた商品でしたが、小さすぎたり大きすぎたりでうまくいかなかったので量を意識して選びました。ちょうどよい量で満足です。

Je met 3 étoiles pour le principe car je ne connais pas encore ce produit, et il faut le temps de le tester. Par contre, une remarque, ce shampooing étant anglais n'est pas du tout traduit en français, et ça franchement c'est un manque.
