As a busy mum to 3 children ( one child whom has Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder), I was struggling to fit in time making my own Pecs as I have done so previously using my laptop and pushing my half knackered laminator to the limit!- which took many many hours during the evenings . I came across these wonderful products they are exactly what I needed . I ordered quite a few Picture Exchange Communication Aids from -Autism Supplies and Developments- , the delivery was very quick and they were delivered in perfect condition. I am very impressed with the boards and cards They are clear, high quality Picture Communication Symbol images. The Laminate completed surrounds every card and board, sealing the paper within . You can see a.lot of care has been put into these made to order products as the corners have been cut rounded by hand, to reduce the chance of scratches/ being poked in the eye .I am pleased that the boards and symbols all came with good quality sticky backed Velcro, pre applied so we were able to use them immediately. The cost of each product was extremely good considering the amount of time each piece takes to make. I would highly recommend to anyone who has children whom have Autism/ special needs.as PECs help decrease negative behaviors that were caused by frustrations; Increase availability for learning and interaction; Increase relatedness and emotional closeness; Build spoken language skills . I will most definitely be ordering again from Autism supplies and development

Great product, really good quality plastic cards, nice size for small hands, my son has taken really well to them. They are well laid out and obviously designed by someone who understands Autism. I will definitely be buying more from this company, they are extremely helpful with all enquiries too.

Great for my 6 year old with autism, however different cards could be provided or a way to purchase these as some of his routine is not on the picture cards. He was able to understand the visual cues with next to no explanation.

This is a very good way to help children with autism learn.

Bought this to replace one I had previously which was knackered. Lovely quality. Quite small. Only downside is that my pack of evening routine cards had breakfast instead of dinner! Amazon said I could return for a refund but they couldn't just send the correct card. I can't send back for refund and wait for replacement as my autistic child has already seen them, helped stick his routine on etc, and it would cause mayhem to take it off of him so I will have to stick a sticker over where it says breakfast and write dinner (and have a breakfasty looking dinner picture)

Great resource, but I feel could be bigger in size.

Absolutely love my son is two and a half with oralfacial dyspraxia hyperactivity and autistic he is not quite ready for the cards but they use similar like pictures for schooling my son is still learning my advice if you were doing this on your own to print out a small picture of your child to put next to the Pecs which is worked a lot better since I started that

Lo compramos para nuestra hija de 3 años a la que le cuesta hacer las rutinas. Es muy visual y se ajusta a las rutinas de la niña, pero ella no puede tener una participación activa como tachar las tareas realizadas o algo así. No es demasiado lúdico ni motivante para niños pequeños.
