Loads more fun out of the box!
I bought this for a friend who wants to get back into his model train build. While it comes with everything you need to set it up and decorate it with he water-slide decals provided, the station names are in England and we live in Northern Ireland. So I designed and printed some Belfast themed items to apply to this Station Halt. He was delighted when he saw it and his enthusiasm is growing again for the thrill of model trains.

Just what I wanted

Nice but with drawbacks
It looks OK and overall is quite a nice platform for a model railway. However, surely the station building should clip to the platform? There are holes in the platform but no corresponding lugs on the building. The curved fencing is fiddly and I haven’t yet been able to get it securely fixed to the sloping ramps. It is supposed to clip in but maybe it needs a bit of glue. A bit more effort needed from Hornby to rate it better than three stars.
