Sparco SPC1691BKGR wheel covers Lazio 16-inch black/grey

These have given my wheels a new lease of life. They look awesome and worth every penny. They are very tight to fit but carefully dies it. I don't have time wraps on mine as they are such a right fit I don't need them and I travel all over the country up and down motorways every day and haven't lost one. I'd highly recommend these trims.

Great looking trims for steel wheels without going to the expense of purchasing alloy rims. Easy to set up the tension rings using the guide, easy to fit following the instructions. Very secure on my vehicle rims (Vauxhall Vivaro 2019) without the need for additional cable ties.

I got these for my work van, they look great and of good build quality, All I will say is take your time when fitting, as they are very snug against the rim, which is only a good this really.

The wheel trims look really well and unlike others their design hides a lot of the original wheel while still looking like a nice alloy effect wheel. I’ve marked down the stars due to the fitting of the trims. I fitted these to a Vivaro 16 inch rims and like other customers had mentioned they are too tight to fit with the wire at the back of the trim to keep them on and in position. If I would of forced them into position they would of broke the plastic pegs that put the tension to get a tight fit to your existing wheel. I adapted the fitting of the wire over one peg rather than under and this was the only way they would fit without breakage . Other wise it was to sand down some of the peg ends to sit into the rim . Once I adapted this method of fitting took no longer than ones I had fitted previously. My then concern was I may lose the rims at speed on rotation. These are not the cheapest rims and you don’t want to lose your investment.. shame really as this small fault let’s them down what is a nice wheel trim. The price of the rims are a little expensive over others considering they don’t fit as good as some of the cheaper options . So some fine tuning on Sparco s part to get this product into line and price bracket. This Done on there part I probably would change my feedback to 5 stars.

As the pics show, these are beautiful covers that don’t show any of the ugly steel wheel underneath and give a modern “black” wheel look. In the pics, mine are on 16” original wheels. The metal ring inside the cover snap onto a top or bottom notch to adjust tension inside the wheel. The instructions aren’t clear on this - the bottom notch is more tension the top less tension (mine are on top notch). You also must align the curve on the metal circle to the only “slat” that is a bit wider for the air nozzle. I couldn’t get the covers onto two of my wheels, and as instructed, slightly bent the metal cover “inward” to reduce tension. If you are fighting to get it on, don’t, bend the Metal and try again. It should be moderately hard to snap into your wheel, but not nearly impossible (I wasted 15 min figuring that out). A rubber mallet helps, and a wide flat head of really one to push any last difficult clips into the wheel (Which if bend metal, shouldn’t be needed). Mine are on very tight and haven’t fell off on California’s horribly maintained freeways :)

The caps are nice to see but are made of plastic that is inappropriate for the use. The plastic is not flexible and the caps crack and break too easily making it very difficult to fit on the wheels.

They look good in person and the quality is fairly decent. The hub caps were easy to put together and attach to the rim. Overall I’m very satisfied with them.
