Didn’t need the screws, solid hold adhesion, gloriously easy to install and use. Cheaper than new hardware or cabinets and holds lower doors shut from nosey dogs. Light-weight but string magnet and durably made. Happy I’ve found these and would recommend. 10/10

These were suggested in the comments section of a YouTube video showing the assembly of storage cabinet from Harbor Freight. They worked perfectly for this project. I used rivets to hold them in place, so no knowledge about the quality of the included screws. And I only used the side with the magnet, the whole cabinet is metal so no problem holding the door shut. Being ultra thin kept them from pushing the closed doors out too far. The included double sided adhesive strips are very strong but you will need to use some type of fastener for longevity of the unit. The strips do allow for much easier placement of the second plate, no chance of misalignment.

Decent product, easy to use. Screw on required in some cases, adhesive won't get it done. More pieces per $ than any others I found. Wish magnets were a little stronger, but they are comparable to other brands I tried.

These are handy magnets to help keep drawers, cabinets and doors closed. The magnets stick together very well but have not had much luck with the magnets sticking to wood which is all I have tried them on. Maybe magnets are strong enough to pull off the wood and the adhesive on each magnet not thick enough. Have had to screw the magnets into wood. But luckily holes are pre drilled for that purpose. Other than that the magnets work well and easy to install.

My garbage door would open up and did not stay closed. This magnetic cabinet door catch solved my problem! Loved the easy installation!

This is the second time I’ve bought these cabinet door magnet's and I bought them again directly because of how GREAT the first batch worked. Well I can tell you from personal experience these ARE NOT the same. The first batch worked so good I took right to install this set. I got them installed CORRECTLY and closed the cabinet door and, nothing, it just slowly opened back up with no stick at all. So I check and YES the magnets are facing the right way but there’s barely any holding power. So I take out another plate and try sticking that to the magnet and it’s barely hanging on, just a light tap and it falls on the floor. But I’ll say one thing they sure come in some fancy packaging so they at least look impressive. I included a picture of this junk in the garbage pail where they belong. I think that’s this company’s strategy, sell junk cheap enough to not be worth returning

Keeps dogs out of the trash. I didn't screw it in (screws included), I just used the tape that came with it and it works like a charm. I'm happy, dogs not so much.

The magnets were packaged very well, and they included both adhesive tape and mounting screws. The magnets are strong, and I needed a strong magnet to hold an outdoor deck gate open. Since this was for outdoor use, and since I did not wish to drill into the gate, I attached the steel plate to the gate with a strong super-glue, rather than the supplied screws or the supplied adhesive strip. This also ensured a flat surface without the possibility of a screw head interfering with the magnetic process. I attached the magnet to the wooden deck railing, using the screws supplied. Voila! The magnet works perfectly and the gate remains open when needed. I could not be more pleased with this purchase, and I also have extra magnets for future projects.
