beautiful book!
As an avid traveller and photography enthusiast, I am constantly on the lookout for books that capture the essence of a destination. What sets this one apart is its ability to evoke emotion. Each image tells a story. It will transport you to Greece's idyllic landscapes and incredible interiors. A visual masterpiece that will leave you inspired.

Disappointing and overpriced
Greece is, above all, a country of light and colour. The photos in this book evoke none of that and the interior shots , with a somewhat washed-out feel, seem to cry for lighting. It’s as if a camera phone was used , and not a good one.The font in the text is eye-achingly awful..never seen such an unreadable font.Overall, has the feel of a Sunday supplement article stretched out rather than an expensive book of homage to this beautiful country and some fine residences to which it fails to do justice.

One word: Superb
A beautiful book that completely encapsulates the magnificence and authenticity of my wonderful homeland. Gorgeous photographs with interesting commentary - this will stay at the centre of my coffee table for years to come.

Poor photographs and badly written
This book manages to give nothing of the flavour of Greece. The photography is very flat and devoid of vibrancy, but worse still is the writing. I'm afraid that the author's writing has an off-putting hubristic taint, as if he admires his own use of words, when in reality the result is almost entirely vacuous and devoid of insight. It is hard to make Greece seem dull, but that is this book's sole achievement.
