lovely set but had probem getting 1kg weight out had to leaver it ut with grips and a whatch mackers screw drive. all due the tight fit of the dry hole used oil for the wood now sides in and out no probs might attack it with some fine paper to give it smoother movement

It looks so pretty on the counter

Most modern recipes use grams and I’d grown tired of converting them into ounces for my old balance scales and imperial weights so I bought this set to use with the scales which though old, are still perfectly balanced. The wood effect storage box looks great on my worktop and the holes for the different weights help to ensure that I replace them all promptly after use and the tiny ones don’t get lost. This is a real quality item and worth the money.

Coming up to 10 years since I purchased these weights to use on a new Weylux balance scale. Arrived in good condition and with just the occasional wipe with a damp microfibre cloth they still look as good as new. I have used some wax on the wooden container a few times and tightened up the screws on the handle once but that is about it for care and maintenance. No signs of rust or chipping of finish, no loosening of the top little knob for picking up the weights. I did check the weights on my digital kitchen scales when I received them and the read out matched the marked weight on all of them. (I still use a digital scale but only about 10% of the time.) Good selection of weights suitable for most home cooks and bakers.

Ich habe mir diese Gewichte zu meiner schwarzen, gusseisernen Waage gekauft. Beides passt sehr gut zusammen. . Die Gewichte sind in diesem Akazienholzständer prima untergebracht und sehen neben der Waage einfach gut aus.
