Top quality weight set
Very pleased with these, and should not lose smaller weights, which often happens when weights are not in a purpose made container. The wooden block is made from tropical hardwood offcuts, which are nicely finished and the weights are finished in polished chrome. Over all a very well presented and practical item.So impressed that we bought the Metric set as well.

Good quality
I accidentally ordered these due to the picture showing a full set of scales, the weights are of nice quality, however I did return them because I thought that I was purchasing a set of scales. I would recommend that the seller updates the image.Edit - I have now updated the star rating to reflect that the seller has now updated the main image.

Give a touch of smartness to your kitchen
Good workmanship and it looks good. Accurate weighing. We challenged an electronic version and found that the weights were more accurate at the lower end ...

Neat to store and easy to use
These weights sit easily next to the scales and are very easy to use. For the price, they are excellent value.

All right now...
I bought this and the metric version for my mum for Christmas. She'd just got some fancy new scales so some smart weights to match seemed a good idea. She seems really impressed with them so that's a win for me however this set, the imperial ones, came with the 2oz weights missing and a 40g metric one in its place. I was quite upset by this on Christmas day i have to be honest. That said they have now been replaced, Amazon were fine about it and their system for doing this works really well so full marks to Amazon. As for the actual product, once correct, the wooden holder is really nice, the handle feels sturdy and the weights are quite pretty. They look good on my parents kitchen windowsill and as they're out and easy to grab they are seeing a lot of use. My only criticism of them would be the stamping on the weights which denotes the mass of each weight is not as neat a finish it could be. Its perfectly clear but less aesthetically pleasing than the rest of the product.

Birthday present
I bought this for my brother who wanted a traditional set of scales with weights instead of an electrical one or a dial. He is very pleased with it and also the smaller weight sizes so there is more accuracy. Delivery time was good.

Lovely
Bought as a present for my Mother. She likes it. It's an attractive thing as these things go. Does the job. They would be better if the writing on them giving the weight was a lot clearer, on most of them you can't see what weight they are, we have to go by the size of the weight.

These are actual "ounes and pounds"
In school the teachers hated the Metric system, and tried to instill that in us by asking us to calculate the number of milimeters in a mile >:( I have tape measures that are marked in inches and centimeters, measuring cups with ounces and milileters, and now, finally, my ballance scale has a set of ounce weights to go with the Gram weights (insert a full throat rebble yell) no more arithmetic to know if it's an ounce or not.

Graduación en libras i onzas.
