Review: Practical and applicable - Street Smarts by Greg Koukl is a practical and applicable guide for Christians navigating tough conversations about their faith. A follow-up to his bestseller Tactics, this book highlights the flaws in common objections to Christianity and offers strategies to address them through model questions and sample dialogues. Koukl emphasizes the difference between “gardening” (sowing seeds of thought) and “harvesting” (reaping conversions) in evangelism, focusing on how to have meaningful, non-confrontational discussions with non-believers. Each chapter tackles specific challenges Christians face, showing how to expose the weaknesses in opposing arguments while maintaining a genial tone. Another great read
I keep a copy of "Tactics" near me, I have read it thru a couple of times. This book is a great follow-up. Easy to read, full of conversational examples. I love the analogy of being a gardener in our quest of the Great Commission. Definitely another piece to shore up your armor.

Practical and thoughtful, but could be deeper in places
This book is a helpful resource for engaging with challenging questions about Christianity. The author addresses real-life doubts and objections in a clear and accessible way, making it easy to follow and apply. The conversational style makes it feel like a friendly guide rather than a textbook. I appreciated the practical advice and grounding in Scripture. However, some answers could have gone a bit deeper or explored alternative perspectives more thoroughly. Still, it’s a very useful read for anyone wanting to think critically and confidently about their faith. Overall, solid, approachable, and informative.

Wonderful and Challenging Book
Koukl has a great writing style, making this book accessible to anyone. He uses clear logic and does a good job anticipating objections to the points he is making. He has a passion about training others to have courage in their Christian worldview, as it is the best explanation for the way reality is. I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires to have conversations with others about controversial topics but do not have the courage to engage. Great sequel to Tactics. Blessings to Mr. Koukl and the staff at STR!

Speak truth, ask questions a must read
Gregory Koukl writes from the heart. He guides the reader through thought provoking questions to use common sense. We live in a world that twists words quickly and in nonsensical ways to steer us toward lies. Step back and think through what has been said and then respond. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in you.

Mi problema no es con el Libro en sí, sino con el proceso de envio porque la pasta llegó doblada por la mitad y ya no es comodo de sostener al leerlo.

I listened to the audiobook first. It was so good, I bought the book! Solid and clearly written insight into western culture with practical, easily-learned ways to engage the cultural norms that run against a Biblical Christian worldview. If you're serious about sharing your faith, read this book.
