Final Fantasy Type-0 HD - FR4ME Limited Edition (Exclusive to Amazon.co.uk) (PS4)

Amazing game so far. The Frame Edition does not really give you much apart from a different plastic "frame"case. Really not a bad game, but keep in mind that this is basically a redesign of an old PSP game. So it will not look as good as newer games. Delivery was good and product arrived at my door with no problems.

Being a huge Final Fantasy fan and having played most of the games over the years I was looking forward to this game just for a quick Final Fantasy fix before Final Fantasy 15 and World of Final Fantasy. I knew it was a remake of a Japanese only PSP game so I was exited to play it and see how the developers have adapted it to home consoles. I have to say I wasn't too impressed, graphically the game feels unfinished, some parts of the game look really nice and others still look like a PSP game, the controls and camera don't seem to have had much time put into them as well, it just feels really awkward. It's not that I dislike the game, overall I think the missions are fun it's just that it still feels like a handheld game to me, it doesn't feel like they have done enough to make it fit on consoles, I would have enjoyed the game a whole lot more if they had remade it for the PS Vita. I think if you are a Final Fantasy fan you should give it a go, just don't expect too much from it.

Great first of all the delivery was speedy n to my satisfaction. The game plays like a dream. Hours of fun for any fan of the final fantasy series or a lover of the RPG genre. The new battle system is a treat n the story has some real great moments. Sets the audience up for final fantasy 15 when that comes.

The game is excellent for as much as I have played it so far. The party in this game composes of an entire class of characters each of which has their own story, unique design and playstyle which I think anyone who have ever played a game such as Valkyria Chronicles will appreciate. The move into Action - RPG over the traditional turn based combat is a nice change of formula and really allows you to make use of each of the characters different styles of fighting. The reason I have dropped a star off this review is due to the "FR4ME" addition. To say this is pitiful would be too kind. The Frame in question is flimsy and if held straight up the game case can actually fall free from the special frame with little difficulty. That isn't even getting into the purpose of the Frame to begin with. In plain English this is just a special case, that is all. I feel that for this title Amazons usual first class content "Limited Editions," which usually consist of special DLC or in-game content has really been let down in favour of a special case. More could have been done to make this Limited Edition feel special but hasn't been. You do get a FFXV demo with this game but I have yet to play that and as that is a demo and not the game I purchased it wouldn't be fair to includ anything to do with that separate game in this review. (I am not a believer that demos for highly demanded games should influence the base games review score)

I'm not going to review the game itself, as this is a retailer website, therefore I intend to review the product itself. Considering the premium price of this Limited Edition, the FR4ME case is cheap and flimsy, and does not feel premium at all - unlike a SteelBook. The quality of the FR4ME cases is poor, and the bezel feels cheap - perhaps if it had been made of steel or magnesium it would feel much more like a premium product, especially considering these are manufactured by the same company which make SteelBooks. The choice of red for the bezel is also a bad choice, and would have been nicer in white to contrast the artwork included. Even a blue bezel to match the PS4 banner would have been a better option! It is not worth spending the extra on such a low quality edition, and you are probably better off spending the extra on the SteelBook version or actual Collector's Edition.

I was really pissed when this game originally launched only in japan on psp back in the day and im glad to say that this game was well worth the money as well as the wait

It's ok, but I mainly cheated using the secret mission training as there are so many people to train. Game doesn't really get interesting until nearer the end. I only enjoyed the battle system if I was using a long ranged attacker with the cards or bow, anything else I found I was just attacking thin air. Use your time wisely in the beginning by doing side quests as when it gets through to the later ones you find it difficult to use your time, especially when most quests require you to be level 50+, as a loyal final fantasy fan, I didn't really like it. I bought the fr4me edition but there was no difference apart from the case, save your money and get the normal edition.

El juego llego en perfectas condiciones aunque es importado uk y puede parecer en tu ps4 que solo esta en ingles , cambiando el idioma de la consola a español españa el juego estara sub español .

Consegna arrivata puntualissima e il gioco non ha neanche un graffio. Arrivato incelofanato, completo di tutto e disco pulitissimo (e non è scontato). Il gioco è inglese ma essendo multilingua tutti i testi sono in Italiano.

Arrived early & like new

Hacía tiempo que buscaba este juego y estuve esperando a que bajase de precio, y menos mal que lo hice, porque encima conseguí esta edición especial a sólo 15€. La caja viene en una funda, y luego la caja que tiene las ilustraciones por todos lados. La verdad es que parece un poco de juguete, pero es muy bonita, y me gusta que tenga el elegante logo en vez de una composición con todos los personajes. Por ahora el juego no lo puse, tengo muchos en la cola, pero la edición es muy chula.

El precio al que está es estupendo, pero en si, la edición limitada deja mucho que desear, solo viene 2 laminas con fotos y la carátula donde viene el disco es diferente. Por lo demás, ningún extra más, ni digital ni físico.
