This hat is made out of a fairly thin, lightweight canvas type material. Better quality ball caps have a thicker more durable fabric. While the stitching seems nice, I do not think this cap will hold up as well as better made ones. I like the design and find it attractive. It is comfortable and fits well with an easy adjustment using a velcro strap for different size heads.

Overall, this Fish Born Trucker Outdoor Adjustable Fishing Dad Hat is attractively designed and comfortable. The fish skeleton logo with the red eyes is definitely eye-catching. I received the black color option (also comes in brown, navy, and orange) and I really like how the white stitching around the cap matches well with the color of the fish logo. Flipping the cap over, I was pleasantly surprised to see a camouflage pattern under the bill and at the back of the cap over the velcro adjustment. The only thing I noticed was that this is a low-profile cap so the crown is short and fits closely on the head. I typically go for at least a mid profile cap or even a high profile, both for greater ventilation and so that my hair doesn't get flattened too much. I'm also concerned that the product information says that this cap is made from 100% cotton, which makes me think that it might shrink to an even smaller, tighter fit after laundering. All the same, while it still fits, I'm going to enjoy wearing this attractively designed cap.
