DK Top 10 Tokyo: DK Eyewitness Travel Guide 2023 (Pocket Travel Guide)

Whenever I travel, this is the first guide book, I look for. Used the brand, in New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Singapore. Bought the Tokyo one for a trip end of March. Good size, great information and the laminated map is a bonus. Won't find a better product.

This up to date guide book was perfect for our recent needs with a very clear maps showing the centre of Tokyo and the subway system. Cannot fault it.

Excellent descriptions of the major Tokyo highlights. We found the area maps at the top of the pages too small, and inaccurate. Major pull out maps of Tokyo and trains excellent, and plastic covered making them durable

Great little book for a short stay in Tokyo. Love this series and buy for all our city getaways. Summaries the city and give recommendations with maps included.

Metro maps not very accurate

We bought this to aid us in our planning for our upcoming trip to Japan. Great map and lots of suggestions so very happy with the purchase.

Fold out map is so useful to familiarize yourself with the transit system and neighborhoods of Tokyo. It is laminated, so rain doesn’t bother it. Suggestions for things to do in the city by area is helpful in planning your day. Once you set out for the day, keep this handy to learn about the area while you are walking to your destinations. Be confident that with this, Google Maps and Translator and a preloaded Suica card on your phone, you will be able to explore this amazing city with ease. We spent ten days in Tokyo and used this travel guide more than the other two we bought.

I love this form factor for actually taking along on trips - leaving the bigger guides for my Kindle.

The book was sticky, and definitely looks used with dirt on the cover and on top of many pages.

We used this book extensively planning our trip in Japan. The way the book breaks up the neighborhood is very helpful when planning agenda for the day. Highly recommend for anyone going to Tokyo.
