I previously used Vodaphone SIMs to run Reolink cameras in a rural area of the UK with poor 4G coverage. When Vodaphone dropped their reasonably priced subscription I had to find an alternative. These EIOTCLUB SIMs have allowed me to try their service at a low initial price with enough data (100MB) to fully test the network reliability in sending alerts and emailed photos. One camera connected and set up smoothly after some prompt customer service interaction with EIOTCLUB. The other one was more problematic. I had to move the camera to a completely different location with a stronger signal to activate the SIM, and even further away to get a strong enough signal to add the camera to the Reolink phone app. However, once I had done this successfully, the camera went back to the location with the generally weak coverage (of all UK providers) and it has worked continuously since then. EIOTCLUB have answered all my questions promptly and been helpful. The idea of sharing cameras on one payment plan is a nice concept and it looks as if I have found a new way to run my remote cameras at a reasonable monthly rate.

The advertising for this item on Amazon clearly shows that it is compatible for use in the UK with O2 and Vodafone networks. It also shows its use in Reolink CCTV cameras. DO NOT BUY!. Vodafone have just ended (July 2024) their V-card data sim service that worked extremely well for £4 per month in the Reolink 4G cameras. Trying to find an affordable alternative is not easy. The EIOTClub card looked like a good solution. It does not work in UK in a Reolink Go PT 4G camera. Reolink support told me how to modify the APN setting in the camera to try and make it work but it did not help. EIOTClub technical support could only suggest testing the sim in another device which did not help either. Reolink support tell me that "we got some feedback from customers, the EIOT card doesn't work well with the camera in the EU, so we recommend using the other SIM cards, such as Official O2, EE, Vodafone (Prepaid SIM card ONLY), JT." Even more annoying, when I try to return the card for a refund Amazon say that it is not eligible even though, in my opinion, it has been mis-sold. It may only be £12-99 that I have to put in the bin but it is the principle. Someone is making a lot of money out of mugs like myself! I do not know how much data I need per month per camera as the previous Vodafone card did not keep that record. My guess is around 2GB as it just sends email alerts and occasional browsing. I am now going to purchase directly from O2 an 8GB data only sim for £10 which is valid for 90 days before topup, assuming the data is not used up more quickly. Hopefully that will work without any difficulty and I will be able to see exactly how much data my camera is using before buying more for my other cameras. I was mislead by other reviews here, you have been warned. When my O2 sim arrives I shall add a note to let you know how that goes. Good luck - oh and on the EIOTClub website it says 7 day unconditional money back warranty, good luck with that one! Update... 8th July 2024 - The normal returns procedure on Amazon refused the return as "not eligible" but I persevered and by following the "contact us - live chat" route the return was accepted, I do not need to return the faulty sim and Amazon have refunded my account. Once more 5 stars for Amazons service, I purchase from Amazon almost daily, thousands of pounds a year, thank you Amazon. The O2 on-line shop is still out of action so no feedback on that. I am rapidly losing confidence in O2.

Used for CCTV camera. Excellent customer service and easy to top up on the app. I like that you can keep an eye on the usage in the app. Coverage is ok but If it included EE network would be a 5 star.

Good sim card. Using it in a Riolink Trackmix LTE 4G wildlife camera as it is what was recommended. Haven't had any problems with. Sometimes it won't connect to my phone but that's a problem with the data providers (Vodafone, O2 etc) signal as we have the same issue with mobile phones. Cost of data is a bit expensive. It would be handy if they had an unlimited plan like you can get for mobile phones.

Works with security Cam really well. Easy to set up. App easy to use.

Purchased for travel abroad, unfortunately did not live up to expectations as not always able to get internet connectivity. Worked fine when connected but let down by lack of connectivity in some areas.

Perfect sim for 4g cctv! Easy to setup, low fees, data usage always there when you need to check! Also it didn't lost connection in 2 months, highly recommended sim!
