I bought this to edge some 12mm white melamine faced MDF, I thought I would try it as it looked simple to use vs. glue on and trim edging and I needed to do the job quickly. I had low expectations, but if you can live with the overlap (which was actually good for me as the melamine had a few cutting chips that the overlap hid) it produced a very high quality result. You need to be careful when fitting it is down fully both sides and apply some pressure (wall paper edging roller I found roller ideal) working in one direction it goes on very quickly and cleanly without ripples. End result looks very professional and softness of the trim provides a cushioned feel to the edge which was perfect for my application. Overall very pleased.

Good quality and stickiness, easy to use and apply. Good durability and thickness. Gives a finished look to your surfaces.

Seems to take a good hold and material seems rebust it feels think and of decent quality would of preferred a few more colour options but can’t fault the product itself

Brilliant tape, used to cover the edge of my campavan pop top board, easy to apply and looks great.

I have used this product before to edge shelving and have been very pleased with the results. It's easy to fit (you need to order the right size) and looks great once properly fitted. The product is self adhesive but you need to make sure the edge you're applying it to is dry and dust free - I found that pressing the strip into place using a clean screwdriver handle worked well. It's quite easy to fit the edging in one piece by "nicking" the edge of the tape where the corners bend (using small side cutters) and then trimming once fitted.

Very good for purpose, but adhesive tape poor and it comes away very shortly after putting in place.

I have a desk that is actually a bunch of completely unrelated products slung together (Ikea desktop, cupboards from Amazon, two bits of MDF from B&Q, etc, etc). I'm a bit fussy about things, and the two MDF planks had slightly different finishes to the side tape; the desktop had a bevel that the shelves didn't. So I got three different widths of this tape, and put it round everything, and now it looks as though the desk was made as one. I may revise this later if the tape slips, or shrinks, but so far I love it. It's very easy to handle, although I made sure of it by doing a few experiments on a spare plank first. The hardest bit to figure is how to hide the join when the tape meets itself. Turns out letting it meet at a corner is not a good idea - you get an ugly mess, whilst the other three corners have the tape going smoothly round them. But the tape stretches as you cut it, so you will never manage to pre-prepare perfectly straight ends on it. So in the end I let the tape overlap itself in the middle of an edge, then put a ruler against it, took a really thin blade, and cut through both layers at once. The cut isn't perfectly straight, but it's the same through both layers, and the join is almost invisible.

Does the job well and a nice finish

Ideal pour mon projet. C'est de bonne qualité, c'est la taille indiqué et en 1 semaine ça ne s'est pas encore décollé (à voir cet été quand il fera 35° dans ma véranda...)

tiene muy mal adhesivo. no solo se suelta en las curvas sino en las rectas. no lo recomiendo

Having applied iron on edging in the past and struggling to get them straight or to get them to stick I came across this. I was adding some shelving to my trailer and needed to apply a front edge to the 3/4" plywood. I liked the idea that this is a U channel so that it is guided to being evenly applied and will have a small overlap top and bottom to finish the look. Went on easily and the adhesive is really strong. Easy to cut to the right length. I also love the soft rubber texture. Get product. Will use again in any future projects.
