It is blended with the freshest local almonds & carob syrup to create these wonderful spreads. They are a healthy choice among the various honeys, as they contain amylase, an enzyme concentrated in flower pollen which helps predigest starchy foods like breads. This raw honey comes from blossoms of scented Mediterranean flora such as Myrophora (wild Cyprus lavender), spatzia (sage), lapsana (rapeseed) and orange blossom. It has an exquisite flavour and fine aroma.
