Does the job. A little difficult to hold still whilst using but if you have a rubber or mat to place it on rather than smooth surface.

Sharpness to my old knives was excellent. Easy to use.

Used as suggested on kitchen knife but I noted that it was putting pit marks along the existing blade edge and overall the knife remained blunt. So sent it back, and went back to my traditional oil stone.

Everything is fine, but there are no rubber feet on the bottom, because of this the device slides during use and is very unstable.
