It's a working Ryobi drill, Ryobi is an awesome tool brand so of course it works great, I can't say I'd buy it again because I won't need to, but I'll certainly buy more Ryobi products, I think the best part which I didn't know about till I got it was that it has a magnet on the base, solid magnet too strong but not too strong, holds your screws or bits without it being a pain to pull off if you want a drill then get a Ryobi this one was solid for someone who just needed a drill, great as a first drill, if this isn't your first drill or you need it for carrying around with a bunch of accessories then maybe get a Ryobi with a case, but if you just want the drill then get this one I did and I love it
