This GPS receiver is working plug and play with my SDS100, in addition you will need to buy separately the mini usb to serial cable directly from the Uniden oficial website 👍🏼

Used it with my Uniden Marine VHF Radio. The serial plug did not work with my Uniden. It did come with instructions that detail what each wire in the serial plug was for. So it was not hard to splice and use the wires I needed for my Uniden Marine Radio. It has a magnet in the base and comes with a suction cup.It was affordable considering Uniden’s GPS sensor were twice the cost and not available because they’re discontinued.It looks identical to the discontinued UNIDEN Marine Radio

The GPS do not work with the uniden sds 100 scanner.

Perfect GPS receiver for my Uniden UM385 radio. Gets GPS signal fast, and now have my radio registered with an MMSI in case of an emergency. You can go to Globalsat's website directly for the user manual which includes a wiring diagram/pinout, but they also include this in the package when you buy it.
