It holds just fine
I had my doubts but this thing holds up just fine. XL Giant cyclocross bike mounted on top of a 2017 Camaro SS. Zero issues this far. Obvious downside, No way to secure the bike to the car to prevent theft. The quality seems to pair well with the price point. I highly recommend this alternative if your vehicle can't host a standard roof or hitch mounted rack.

Things awesome
My first time using my talon bike rack was a 3 hour drive. 1 hour of dirt roads and 2 hours of highway driving. On dirt I was doing 20-30 mph, highway 70-80, no issues whatsoever. Incredibly easy to use and convenient to have all plug sizes included

Exceptional product that delivered
My wife and I used this product to move our bike from California to Kansas. It was easy to install and performed incredibly well. The bike remained on top of our vehicle through high winds and snow in wyoming. I'm super impressed and recommend to anyone considering or worried about the bike falling.

Don't Do It, Save Your Car, Save Your Bike
Nope...don't do it. After a one-and-done attempt on my car, 2 of the 3 suctions (all the way pressed in), popped during a car drive around town test run. Luckily I was just testing them with my mountain bike on, not highway or anything remotely bumpy. At first, fully suctioned on, I could move the whole car grabbing it. I thought, wow, this is gonna work. After 10min in, a hit a small bump in road, a side street doing 20mph, and heard a loud thud. Pulled over and 2 were undone. Barely holding on for life was the rear. And if you have a 29er tire, the rear wheel holder barely grabs it. Plus, DO NOT BUY FROM A 3RD PARTY SELLERS, especially Seller "Performance Guarantee" off Amazon. After I returned it, they dodged me to refund. Opened an Amazon claim, took 9 days. Contacted the BBB on them PG. Absolutely horrible experience. I have a Mustang, trunk racks don't work and knocking down the seats each time for my bike is exhausting. So I thought the SeaSucker would be the trick. Absolute Fail. Maybe it was an assembly line lemon, maybe not, but it almost wrecked my bike, car roof and car rear window. My car and sanity is worth more than $350. I'd rather swear a storm and fold the seats down with both wheels and seat stem off due to the 29er size. Instead, having a hitch installed and putting in a nice Thule hitch rack - a name I have trusted and should've done first go around.

Is safe!
I have used it before, a friend recommended it to me and in fact I borrowed his for several days before ordered mine. I drove whit my own seasucker for 1800 miles between NY and GA. Stable/ Safe, also I drove a couple areas around GA for some rides

Worked perfectly
I was worried it wasn’t going to hold well, so really put it to the test on aggressive windy roads - it was perfect, no loss of suction at all. Impressed.

Very reliable and strong
Honestly it serves its purpose and is no joke, I drove with this rack at 100mph and cant complain about how it performs.

Limited lifespan, beware
Lost a $7500 pro bike due to defective SeaSucker talon rack. Overtime, the suction cups age and lose their characteristics, resulting in poor seal. Better off, kidding something that doesn’t require rubber. Beware!
