I ordered this after a freak accident where the glass on my last stove top broke. The replacement would have been almost as much as a new stove and was backordered for several months, so we ended up replacing the whole stove. I've been overly protective with the glass cooktop and this cover gives me peace of mind. It's thick and smooth, protects the cooktop from scratches and keeps it clean, and makes a nice work surface for food prep that doesn't require the use of the cooktop. I don't have much counter space so being able to use the cooktop surface for this is very helpful. I love that this cover can be put on a warm cooktop (I let the burners cool for about 10 minutes first) and that I can pull things out of the oven and set them directly on this (typically limit that to 350⁰ and below.) If I'm only using one burner I can easily roll up one side and leave the other side of the cooktop covered, which works out great if I'm also pulling something out of the oven. I wipe it down with a wet paper towel or run it under the faucet if I spill batter drips on it, and it cleans up very easily. It has developed a couple of little snags in the surface, probably from the corner of a box or something being dragged across it. They're not noticable unless you're up close and don't affect the use. The cover blends right in with my stove so you don't even notice it's there. I will say that my somewhat minimalist husband hates it but I do 90% of the cooking so he has to deal.

I found this to be a nice quality cover for the top of my stove. I like the color, it fits my stove top very well and it is easy to clean. It keeps everyone from getting food and crumbs on the the top of the stove. I like it protects it from scratches from plates, cups things people set on top of it. It feels durable, it lays flat on top and it looks nice on. I have enclosed pictures so you can make an informed decision based on your own personal needs. Yes, I would recommend this product.

In between buying my new induction cooktop and having it installed I decided to read up on induction cooktops. I learned, among other things, that induction cooktops are subject to scratching while a pot is just sitting there cooking. Having dealt with a scratched up (non-induction) electric cooktop previously I knew I needed to do more to protect the new one. Reading the product description left me a little confused. Was it a mat you could put under your pots while cooking or not. I wasn’t sure but I decided to buy it because if I did manage to damage my cooktop I could hide it under the mat. I could also claim the covered cooktop to use as extra counter space for other tasks. I decided to put the mat to the ultimate test right away. I sautéed chicken on the cooktop with the mat between the cooktop and the pan. The mat did exactly what I hoped it would with no sign of damage to the cooktop, the mat, or the pan. The mat didn’t hinder the induction heating at all. The only thing I didn’t like is it was a bit challenging finding the middle of the burner, which matters because, at least with my cooktop, the pot needs to be centered. I expect this to get easier with practice. The photos shows nothing but light glare. The mat looks unused. I would buy this item again, but don’t expect to ever have to. Cleanup is very easy!

Good cover for keeping stove clean.Will not keep cats from getting burned.

So far exactly what I'd hoped for. I gave it 4 stars, as I haven't used it on a warm stove yet. I purchased this to ensure that a) I wouldn't scratch my new glass top stove and b) my cats wouldn't burn their paws should they jump on the counter as my burner is cooling. I measured my stove side to side before purchase, which was 29" - so I bought the size nearest to the fit. It's an absolute PERFECT fit, which I'm thrilled about, I didn't want it wider than my stove, I wanted a n ice clean fit that looked like it was made for it. I was holding my breath until it arrived with regard to the length and yet again, a perfect fit from top to bottom with no hang over and nothing exposed. My stove is stainless steel with black door and a black burner, so the black color is a lovely blend. The material appears to be very well made, it's definitely spill and waterproof... I've already tested for that. After having to argue with a manufacturer to replace my new stove for months on end until they did, because of scratches, I am thrilled to have a lovely fitting, well made, visually pleasing cover. Most of all, I feel so much more confident that neither of my 2 cats will get burned while my stove is cooling, an issue I've been dealing with for nearly 9 years - always having to stand watch until my stove stop was 100% cooled. In reading the description and reviews, it clearly states that while fire and heat proof, to allow for some cooling before placing it on. I am 100% happy to, waiting for a bit of cooling vs. waiting until completely cooled, gives me peace of mind that my cats won't burn their paws, and less time standing and waiting for a stove top to fully cool. While not tested for heat/warmth yet, I can tell by the material that this is going to be all I'd hoped for and exactly as described. Truly happy and relieved with this cover. I highly recommend it.

I purchased this as I wanted to keep the glass top of my new oven in good condition and if keep putting dishes on top of it it will be scratched.Its fire proof and perfect size to cover glass lid and as I have choice of colour even better.Its well made and excellent quality nice and thick easy to clean and very nice green matches by kitchen blinds.May be dearer than same but you get what you pay for and quick free delivery

Super dessus de canapé efficace, très imperméable, je peux même donner un exemple, j’ai mon chat qui a uriné sur mon dessus du canapé, le liquide ne s’est pas fondue sur le revêtement, ça faisait comme si de l’eau était dans un bol, il faut utiliser du papier absorbant pour éponger le liquide et ensuite y nettoyer avec un agent doux et rincer avec une microfibre. Un conseil eux sur l’étiquette préconise qu’on peut y passer à la machine à laver, mais je vous conseille de ne pas y mettre au lave-linge, car la protection plastifiée peut se dégrader et plus faire son travail d’imperméabilité.
