Exactly what I needed for my project

I used this painter’s tape to create a basketball backboard and hoop, and it worked perfectly. It sticks in place. I was able to create clean, sharp lines. It’s easy to tear by hand. Highly recommend!

This is my second time buying this tape. So far, it has held up and also removed cleanly as expected I left some on wood trim for many months which is too long--and I do not recommend you do that--but it still removed cleanly when I took it off months later. The color and texture are a little different from that of other brands, and I would prefer that the color be more solid orange, but it performs very well and costs less than another brand.

I chose the orange for its attention-grabbing color, yet I did not buy this tape for painting. I bought this only for: labeling freezer containers; for “notes” that need to be temporarily placed on things — where a Post-it won’t work; and for anything else that needs a removable, eye-catching label. Being able to decide my own length of a label/note is also of importance to me. Although I had been using this method for YEARS, and Sharpie works well on painter’s tape, black Sharpie on blue tape is not easily read. The tape’s adhesion is good — even in the freezer. The tear is easy. Removes without leaving residue. Color is cheerier than blue! The only problem I’ve encountered is trying to find the end/start. As the tape is of a thinner, masking tape feel, and the color is somewhat mottled, the end blends into the roll. (Easily remedied by folding it over onto itself after each use, but I forget to do that most times. So, I’m usually spinning the roll around looking for the start of it). Not a tape issue, but a ME issue. As it feels somewhat thinner than the name brand painters’ tapes — I’m not sure I would trust using it for a large/important painting project, but to quickly tape off something for a small spray-painting job…ABSOLUTELY. I would buy this tape again for labeling, for sure!

Most masking tape tears when you try and remove it from the roll. So frustrating. I am trying different brands looking to avoid this. So far this tape has not torn and sticks just the right amount. Very happy with it.
