Build up of soot/creosote after 1 month of use. The holes are too small to allow proper airflow.

Fit my stack perfectly. My stack has a bit of a rim a few inches down that this cap sits nicely on. Very snug, but I added a couple of stainless machine screws anyway. I like the gasket as well. Better protection against rain in the stack. No caulking needed..and no more birds!
