Perfect Fit, Great Value
Exceptional fit, finish, and feel. The textured grip is a nice upgrade over stock. Fit my ST-5800 shifters perfectly, and they look and feel better than new. Outstanding value for the money and an often overlooked maintenance item that makes a big difference in your cockpit.

fits like a glove
shimano is a great product, the rubber needs a little lube to help slip on, I use hand sanitizer as a lubricant, for it dries once on.

Bought these for my Shimano Tiagra 4700 mechanical disc brake levers. They fit nicely after gently stretching them on with rubbing alcohol spray. Hair spray or hand sanitizer can also work. They still look new and haven't stretched out after 3000km of riding. No weird smell, stickiness, or grip issues. They're thinner than the original Shimano hoods, but that's pretty typical for replacement hoods. Genuine Shimano ones are hard to find. These are not intended to fit on hydraulic levers. Hydraulic levers have a bulkier part on top, and these hoods won't fit properly. They're for mechanical brakes only.

These are excellent. They fit my ST-5801 brake levers perfectly. And, I installed them easily without removing the levers by gently heating them up with a blow-dryer and lubricating with some rubbing alcohol, then they slipped fairly easily over the tops of the levers and into place.

Not familiar with how the original covers are because they needed replacing when I got the bike. These covers fit perfectly and were easy to fit with the help of some hand sanitizer gel.
