Fanatec ClubSport Shifter SQ v1.5 Stand-alone

I bought this as an upgrade to my Thrustmaster TH8RS which was still going strong but I wanted a more realistic feeling from my shifter. I was not disappointed - this is a beautiful design and the satisfaction of using it really makes me want to choose H pattern cars in Assetto Corsa. Very happy!

This shifter is excellent build quality, and meets the same high quality standards as every other Fanatec product that I've purchased under the Club Sport line. I already owned the Fanatec Club Sport Wheel 2.5 and the 3.0 pedals. I'm particularly pleased with how well everything works together. The shifter has a very solid feeling in sequential mode, you know that you shifted up or down. The 7 speed mode, is also great, it feels like driving a real manual transmission car. If you are on the fence, I'd say you should buy one if you can afford one. Someday I'll probably add the handbrake too.

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, bei denen der 6te Gang einfach nicht funktionierte, bin ich vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Shifter. Das Problem mit dem fehlenden Gang konnte ich lösen, indem ich einfach die fanatec software für die große wheelbase runtergeladen habe. (obwohl ich ein thrustmaster lenkrad habe) Die Software hat den shifter erkannt und ich konnte ihn kalibrieren. Danach funktionierte alles einwandfrei. Durch diese kleinen schwierigkeiten, wollte ich zuerst nur 4 Sterne geben. Da das Ding aber so enorm viel Spaß macht, gebe ich trotzdem 5 Sterne! Die Verarbeitung ist außerdem Grandios! KLARE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!!!

Schneller Versand, hohe Qualität. Einstellbar, stabil und präzise. Man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Ich möchte die Schaltung nicht mehr missen. Auch die Montage geht Recht leicht von statten.

A fine product, gear selection feels good. Problem: 5th to 2nd gear jump(vice versa) is very frequent. With practice, the frequency may be reduced, but it may still happen. Because shift distance between 2nd and 5th might be a bit short, it is easy to slide to an undesired gear. The package came opened and arrived late, not functioning out of the box. For others having gear selection/gear registration issue, you can't calibrate it with windows control panel, you will have to go to fanatec's official website and download their USB adapter drive. This will fix everything.
