This unit mounts nicely, heats quickly, has easy-to-use controls, and looks good when flush-mounted. I especially like the "lock" feature. On the negative side: I'm thinking that the painted labels won't last with frequent cleaning. The unit has an unfinished industrial look when surface-mounted on it's half-inch rubber legs. And finally, the heat control for the low power ring has only two settings.

This stovetop is great! I placed the rubber feet on and tried it out before installing it in the counter to make sure it worked as described. It heats up perfectly and I placed it on high to boil water. Everything I tried it did it well. Highly recommend this stovetop and it looks beautiful. One warning is to make sure you wait until the blinking "H" stops blinking before you place your hands on the burner. The "H" means that the burner is HOT. Once it stops blinking you can clean and wipe it off. Thank you AMAZON.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It’s good for random cooking not daily cooking activity. The bottom gets really hot so don’t leave it on too long!

I will keep it because its not expensive, and it serves a purpose in our basement for family function. It’s not very flat. It wobbles on the counter. I don’t like where the power cord comes out.

We encountered an issue with the holes on the back of the cooktop, which made it difficult to attach the rubber supports for countertop use. However, the customer service was outstanding—they addressed the problem immediately and resolved it quickly. Very impressed with both the product and the support!

This works for my space and it looks great! Do recommend Only draw back is it does scratch easy.
