Nice product and fixing magnet is too weak to be of any use.

OK but..

Build quality is great and feels smooth to use. The issue is the length of the chord. It seems bizarre that it is limited to 4.5m. This is visible by zooming in on the pictures, but not in the description. At such a short length it would rarely be worth not using the extandable level. Why on earth a couple extra metres of string aren't included is baffling and for me, makes it useless. Plumb bob is now detached and fitted to the far superior shinwa (plumb bob broke on that when i dropped it) while the chord and body sits at the bottom of a tool bag

I build elevators and these really help me get everything plum and true. Magnets are great tough construction. Gotta say it’s one of the better ones I’ve used.

Ce fil à plomb est génial. son système de fixation contre les poutres en bois est une fonction très pratique qui permet de travailler comme si l'on avait une aide supplémentaire. Magnétisme, enroulement auto, bref, que du très bien conçu !

Endlich hat sich mal jemand Gedanken gemacht. Das Gewicht ist schwer genug um lange Auspendelzeiten zu vermeiden. Das Gehäuse mit automatischem Schnurwickler mit Feststeller hat einen sehr starken Magnet und einen Markierdorn sowie eine 25 mm Abstandsmarkierung um Vorsprünge ( z.B. Fußbodenleisten ) zu umgehen. Die Abstandsmarkierung lässt sich mit beliebigen Zwischenlagen - bekannter Dicke - erweitern. Bin nur gespannt, wie lange die autom. Schnuraufwicklung ohne Knäuel funktioniert. Aber auch hier hat man mitgedacht - das Gehäuse ist 2-teilig geschraubt. Sehr zu empfehlen !!!
