Q: is the door curtain noisy on a windy day ? and can it easily be taken down during the winter ?

It is noisy on a windy day .can be easily taken down,that`s not my problem with it . Chains too light and too spaced ,therefore it doesn`t keep flies out

I had wooden supports added during PVC installation, I would not fit direct to hollow PVC. Also addition answers provided under product: How do you fit it to a conservatory french pvc window? By Rob on 16 July 2018 Hi there I just drilled two tiny holes and put small screws in. The heads of the screws were big enough so you can put the two sliding clips on then just hook the fly screen on. It is simple to remove too! Q: Can this be reduced in width as my door frame is 80cms.

Yes that is fine. The two screws which attach to the wall can be any width apart and the actual curtain of chains is on an aluminium header and each chain dangles separately so you can saw the strip down to 80cm easily.I am very pleased with the quality and ease of fixing.
