nice and heavy, solid and well built. It has a large smooth surface area that flattens bacon or burgers out well. This helps cook them faster. Easy to pop into the dishwasher after use for quick cleaning, good value for money.

There is a review on this complaining that it rusted after the first use. This is cast iron so yes it will rust if not properly seasoned and oiled, wash it once and then rinse it. Then heat it up to a very high heat and oil it! It never needs to be washed again just re-oiled. I have used mine for steaks and burgers and it is superb!

This product is great for making smash burgers. Just roll your meat up into a ball, place on the BBQ grill and press down with this Smash burger press. This model is nice and heavy, creating just the right amount of 'smash' for your burger. Can be used many, many times!

Bought to help flatten meat, does what it is meant to, only thing,I washed it when I got it and left it to dry,and when it was dry,it had rust in the edges and print,I do have hard water where I live,so have found when I wash/wipe it,i HAVE to dry it thoroughly to avoid the rust coming back,it hasn't since! But aside from that,it's very sturdy and looks like a quality item, would recommend.

Shocking! Purchased for a small Christmas gift, washed it over before use only to find it rusty once dried! Not even used once - terrible quality and unsafe - what costing do they use on this? AVOID AT ALL COST!

It is really for keeping a steak flat whilst in the frying pan so that heat is applied evenly over the steak but it is great on burgers, bacon, thick ham slices and when making a toasted sandwich in the frying pan. It is made from cast iron so it is quite heavy and is ribbed on the underside. It is a good size and fits in my frying pan just great. It is a little awkward trying to find some where to keep it when not in use as it is too large to go into the kitchen drawers. I now have to keep it in the bottom of a Stainless steel pan.

Compré este producto por recomendación de una amiga que se dedica a la cocina. La verdad es que viene muy bien tanto para cocinar carne como para incluso tostar pan en una plancha. Para su limpieza es recomendable hacerlo con un cepillo, bicarbonato y agua. El mango es muy cómodo y hace que no se transmita el calor. Sin duda que sea no ser un producto barato, su calidad justificar el precio.

Great burger press with a nice heavy weight to it. The polished coating makes cleaning a breeze compared to cast iron alternatives. I use to cook steaks to get a nice sear and it works like a charm. The rubber coated handle makes it easy to hold when it gets too hot.
