"Oh it's not glass..."
I initially opened the packet for this a little underwhelmed upon realising it wasn't one of those tempered glass, oleophobic formula coated, bullet proof, nuke proof 9h screen protectors. I forgot anything else existed and their thickness always inspired me with more confidence in their claims to be the best. It also seems to be easier fitting the glass protectors than the standard plastic affair which isn't to say much because I always manage to leave at least one bubble after hours of trying and then finish up by kicking myself for having caused a lifted edge which won't stick down any longer. After giving the screen a good wipe down with the included lens cloth (no isopropyl alcohol swabs included though), I rolled back about half of the stage one film and aligned the exposed sticky part of the protector with the right hand end of the screen and lay it down. A bit of gentle rubbing and there wasn't a single bubble! Continuing to roll back the film and rub on the protector I was left shocked to have fitted my first ever protector without a single bubble or lifted edge. A truly magnificent moment although it was somewhat marred when I realised how much this was going to ruin the colours of the screen. With the camera off the display wasn't black, more of a hazy grey. "Oh well" I thought, "Better protected and ugly that scratched and vibrant". "Why the five stars then?" You ask? Because I then peeled the stage 2 film and had to triple check that I hadn't taken the entire protector off with it. No discolouration, no bulk, no bubbles and no lifting edges. Just my camera screen looking as crisp and shiny as it ever has. It must be known that I cannot yet vouch for the durability of this protector but I fitted it to protect the screen from scratches which it should do just fine. I doubt any protector, glass or otherwise, will realistically protect your device from cracks etc. In short, this THIN, CLEAR and VERY easy to apply protector is the best I have ever used and left me pleased with my purchase as opposed to just glad my device is at least protected.

Easily fitted. Adequate for the job.
I bought this because it was cheaper than the Sony branded screen protector and the reviews were good. On the positive side, this was very easy to fit. It took less than a minute start to finish. One or two peripheral bubbles we easily pushed out to the edges. The fit is perfect and I am confident that it will do the intended job of protecting the screen. Now the cons. It was obvious at first glance taking it out of the protective envelope that it was scratched and scored quite heavily. At first I thought I was looking at the clear plastic covering the adhesive side but no. When I got it on the camera I realised it was scored and scratched quite a bit. It is still usable and it will perform its intended purpose which is to protect the camera screen. The other issue is the removable paper tab at the edge. This helps immensely with fitting but which proved impossible to remove without leaving blobs of adhesive and paper residue on the surface. Even when I got most of it off, it left a a blob of sticky adhesive behind which took a lot of scratching with a fingernail and rubbing with the supplied cloth to finally remove. In the end it is snuggly fitted to my camera screen and will do the job of protecting it. I just hope it comes off without leaving messy residual adhesive when the time comes.

Goodish
As some of the other reviewers have said it is always a bit nerve racking to fit a protective screen and get it as perfect as it can be i.e. as good as the original one on the camera or phone. I bought the Sony A6000 a week ago and decided to get a screen for it almost immediately just to reduce the risk of scratches and grease marks etc. The Expert Shield screen arrived on time and packaged well (but not too much to go wrong there). The instructions were very clear and detailed so for once (being a bloke) I decided to stick to them to the letter. I thoroughly cleaned the surface which worked very well with the lint free cloth and the screen went on perfectly first time. However, on checking this morning one edge has lifted slightly maybe a millimetre or so and no amount of pressure can make it stick. It might have been me not cleaning enough but when you look with the naked eye in good light and theres nothing there what can you do? It doesn't detract from the appearance nor does it affect the display which is very clear indeed. It will do for now but I will search out another type in future.

Not a good experience
Sadly seems I did'nt have a good experience with this, after recieving it, I noticed it had defects on one of the edges like it was not cut properly and pulled apart. When I placed it on that same edge would not lay flat properly and slight air gaps....but mostly I noticed a major drop in clarity and the screen kept giving me the feeling of looking through smudged glasses, I found I could not really tell looking at my photos that the image was in focus and kept having to use the view finder insted. After contacting, they stated I may have received a antiglare version...so they said they will send a replacemnt, after a week nothing arrived and had to contact them to just refund me. Seller did have very good communication and quick to try resolve problem. In the end I decided just go with the official Sony PCK-LM17 Semi Hard Screen Protect Sheet for not much more and completely rate that for clarity and thicker quality protection, this sadly was a waste of time.
