I used to think MagSafe was a gimmick…until I bought this thing. There have been many situations where it would be convenient to be able to prop my phone up. My wife has long had a case with a built-in loop type thing & she loves it. So, i thought “why not” and I’ll try this. If I hate it I can return it, and I loved that since it’s magnetic I can obviously detach it whenever I want too. It’s not as big a commitment as a case with a built-in Loop/Handle. Lol. Well, I NEVER detach this thing from my phone. I’m seriously never without it. i absolutely love it. The magnet is surprisingly strong and has never fallen off accidentally. The only way this thing falls off is when I’m wearing ONE specific backpack of mine, the straps of which seem to be custom-designed to sweep this right off the back of my phone. 🤬🤬 But that’s the best part; even though this thing has hit the pavement multiple, multiple times, and I’ve owned it well over a year (longer?) it still functions as if it was brand new. I have NO clue how ESR engineered this thing so that the articulating parts stay so tight & firm, esp and even after CONSTANT, DAILY use, and a whole lot of drops, but holy cow - it’s amazing. This thing is SOLID and extremely well designed. It has taken some good dings / divots / scratches because of my stupid backpack brushing it off, but again; that’s my fault. Other than firmly being swept off, this thing holds like crazy, and even though it’s fallen dozens of times, it still works like new & doesn’t look THAT bad, all things considered. I’m still extremely happy with it, and still surprised how much I really love using this thing. it is just so darn handy. It also makes your phone a lot easier to hold for extended periods of time. Overall, 10/5 little device. If you have ever even had the slightest inclination to buy something like this, BUY IT! Just try it out! ***Oh; and ensure of course you have a fully mag-safe compatible phone case!!!*** Great job, ESR.

I’ve used this every day for over a year and a half so far, and it has stood up well. It’s super easy to install - it just snaps onto the magnetic case. I love the adjustability of the kickstand. Being able to use it horizontally or vertically is quite nice, and rotating it is very easy. It grips firmly and is easily removed when I need to wirelessly charge my phone. It took some time to adjust to holding it because I was used to Pop Sockets, but once I did, it was great. It feels more secure in my hand and it’s prevented many, many drops. Also the hinge has not become loose on mine like some reviewers have mentioned. It may cost more than some, but to me, the quality and functionality make it a good investment.

EDIT: I bumped this up from 3vstars to 4 stars based on the sellers customer service. In less that 24 after leaving this review, the seller reached out to me to work on getting me a refund, and senfing me a replacement. It worked great for the first 3 and a half weeks or so before the finger loops separated from the magnetic part. Where the finger loops attach to the magnetic ring is pretty weak it's just kinda stamped together. Some tiny screws would work a lot better. The magnet itself works great, it never fell off of the phone. And I like the way the finger loops can be adjusted to just about any position. The finger loop is a bit small, only big enough for 1 finger, and in some situations its a bit unstable while holding it. All in all, in like this product, though I think I'd prefer something with a big enough loop or strap to fit 2 fingers. It's too late for me to return it so I've got it rigged up with duct tape, which is holding it together quite well, until I figure out what I'm replacing it with.

I am a long-time popsocket fanatic, but decided to give this ESR ring grip a try because my popsocket doesn't work as a stand in portrait mode. Well, I might be just using this ring grip because I LOVE IT. As a stand this ESR ring works in both portrait and landscape mode and, mostly importantly, it is incredibly sturdy in both positions. As a grip it is VERY comfortable and easily spins around so that it can be held in different positions. When not in use, it all folds in very close to the phone, with just a bit of protrusion. However, because the whole thing is sturdy, it doesn't seem to get caught on pockets. What I also like about this compared to my popsocket is that it gives me a better grip on the phone when trying to take pictures at different angles. Because it's a ring, there's no way I am going to drop my iPhone. I am using this with a Mous bamboo case and the magnets on this ring grip are VERY strong. No issues with it falling off. I cannot speak to the durability of this, as I just got it, but I am probably going to get a second one to have just because it's so functional. Update: I have been using this for a few months now. I like it so much that I purchased a second one in a different color to use with another case. While my popsocket is still a bit more comfortable to hold in my hand, this ESR grip is way more functional. Biggest benefit of this grip is that it can be used to stand the phone up in landscape or portrait mode, something popsockets and most other grips cannot do. It does get a little less stiff with use, but so far continues to function perfectly and looks great on the phone too.

When I first got it, it was amazing! There was enough tension to really keep the stand in any direction I wanted. I comfortably would put my finger in the ring and then "drop" my phone if I needed both hands, because the phone would just spin around and still be held by the ring and magnetic mount - it was that strong. About 3 months in, I realized that when I dropped my phone, the whole thing comes flying off... I don't know if it's that jarring it shocks the magnetic connection loose? I also didn't remember that happening the first couple months, but I want that bothered by it. But 4 months in, the tension is gone. The ring continually slips out of place and no longer feels stable, which is a disappointment... I've contacted the manufacturer for an assist, so fingers crossed they come through with a solution.

This phone ring holder is perfect! The magnet is really strong and holds securely to my MagSafe case without slipping. It’s comfortable to hold, rotates smoothly, and even works as a stand. Plus, the design looks sleek and minimal. Definitely worth it if you use your phone a lot!

Update: heck no to this. It scratched the heck out of my MagSafe apple clear case and it doesn’t stay on it constantly comes off when taking it out of pocket or if it’s dropped. The mechanisms are also ridiculous still too tight to move and adjust, needing too much pressure to simply adjust. It’s okay. I have the iPhone 17 pro and the magnet is strong and does easily just attaches to the apple clear MagSafe case I have. It feels solid and hefty. Not a fan of how bulky it is. I’d rather it be slimmer so phone sits flat on its back. The big BUT here is that the parts you move to set it up to stand are so tight. Too tight that to adjust the phone to have it stand, the entire magnet will have to come off because of the strength you have to use just to pull out the rings to make it stand. It’s pretty annoying. And then you have to pull the rings downward to make the phone stand and so more reason for it to come off entirely. You have to hold down the magnet and then pull out the rings. There’s too much friction in this product. If you want it just for the first ring that pulls out to not drop phone while scrolling or whatever, that’s fine. It works great for that. But to stand? No you’ll keep having to remember to hold down magnet or remove completely to see it up as a stand.

This magsafe grip is very strong that sometimes it's hard to pull when I need to detach it when changing phone cases. This, to me, speaks of the product's quality
