Yankee Candle Large Jar Scented Candle, Crackling Wood Fire, up to 150 Hour Burn Time

Really good, fresh scent. Burns for a long time

Despite being delivered in a poorly fashioned cardboard box which didn't seem to fit the item so parcel was wrapped in excessive amounts of duct tape, the item was in pristine condition. No wear marks or cuts to the glass container. The candle itself served as a brilliant gift and smells a little sweeter than the wax melts but eventually mulls out. A very calming and pleasant scent, shame it's only a seasonal buy.

Yankee Candles are a bit on the pricier side, but the large jar lasts a long time and the smell fills the room so I feel like it makes up for it.One thing I would say is if you buy a medium/large jar, make sure you have the time to burn it for a decent period of time so the melted wax can even out. Otherwise, the candle won't melt properly (it will burn a hole down the middle with unmelted wax around the edge) which can be a bit wasteful.I would recommend this candle for people who like to cosy up by the fire. What would have made this candle even better is if it had a wooden wick so it would sound like 'Crackling Wood Fire' too!

Nice smelling candle. Long lasting.

Nice candle, smell has to build up, didn’t do anything for me the first time I lit it, but really enjoyed it once it got going!

I’m a huge fan of Yankee Candles but so far Crackling Wood Fire has to be my absolute favourite, and has been a popular choice with the rest of my household too. Really does smell like a lovely wood fire burning, adds a very cosy and comforting smell to a room. It’s also one of the strongest scented Yankee candles I’ve owned - I find that some don’t give off as much of a scent and others do - so it’s been a great buy. It’s almost burned out now after many weeks of burning so I’ll have to replace it shortly, but consider it a decent price given how much we all enjoy it!

Smells like how a hug feels. Borderline masculine scent. Autumn changing into Winter vibes. Comfort. Mildly intoxicating. The overall experience of this candle is like getting tipsy on a good red wine in an AirBnB Shepherd's Hut with someone you've been dating for 3 months, and you know it's going somewhere serious but you're still getting butterflies when they look into your eyes. There is definitely a soft blanket in this scenario. And candles. This candle, actually. My favourite of all the Yankee candle smells. I'll be honest, I purchased this during a migraine when I have low impulse control. Glad I did. Full discretion, I have a migraine as I'm writing this review.

The scent was very subtle at first. You need to be burning it for about an hour before the smell really become apparent. But from then on it smells great.
