Great Bulb..with two sneaky side bulbs included!
Philips WhiteVision Xenon effect H7 Headlight Bulb 12972WHVSM, Twin Pack Good bulbs, not a huge difference from my stock bulbs, but definitely would call it a white light as opposed to the yellowish tint off the stock ones. Quite impressed with the price and a fraction of what you'd pay for similar in Halfords. The only negative, and it's only negative in regard to how the product is advertised her- is that it's not clear that there are two free sidelights W5W included with the bulbs! I bought a pair of matching parking bulbs to accompany it so was more surprised to find two freebies included.Fortunately, I discovered these work in a few spots in the car and I was able to use them in interior lights of the car, so it was an unplanned upgrade. Now my car is glowing with white light when the doors open!First pic is the old and new side by side. H7Second is the light spread.Third is the side lights.

Fantastic Value. White, Crisp Beams!
I bought these bulbs to replace the headlight bulbs in a 63' Nissan Juke. Having replaced the 'allegator eyes' on the bonnet (side lights) with LED lights (which is a fantastic idea by the way), the headlights looked laughably yellow. Nobody wants yellow lights. After a huge amount of research. Considering changing headlights with kits. Understanding how the kelvin colour spectrum works. I decided these were probably the best in the market. As it stands, your normal, yellow headlights are roughly 3500K. Estimations online as to how this scale works and looks vary wildly. As does the legality of bulb upgrades. And I can safely say that the claims made by almost every brand are somewhat exaggerated. You need to keep in mind that the 5000K+ bulbs on the market, however attractive as they are, are technically not road legal. Additionally, they are likely not to pass an MOT. So these bulbs provide the highest rating of 4300K while remaining legal and MOT approved. They look fantastic. Let's say it now. Compare them to the standard yellow bulbs (I changed one and tested them) and it is outstanding. They do look like HID or Xenon type lights. Crisp, snow white beam with a slight (very slight) tinge of blue at the edges of the beam. They are not HID or Xenon. Looking at the lights in their housing they are distinctly whiter but not as white as my side lights (which are 5000K for a very crisp effect in the dark with the headlights off). The lights in their housing look much better than standard lights of cars around you but they don't look like Xenon, but do pass for HID! That said, driving around the beam is longer than any bulb I have ever had and the light on the road, walls and other cars is white. Very white. Exceptionally bright beam too and in unlit areas they provide fantastic illumination. In summary, if you don't want to start meddling with your car too much, if you want crisp white beams with whiter looking headlights without breaking the law, these are the very best you can get and at an outstanding price.

Whiter, really, spot the difference!
To be honest these are a bit of a con... if you want a new halogen and don’t care about the colour then fine. But if you want truly visible whiter light look elsewhere, the difference from a standard of the shelf BMW halogen is unnoticeable!BMW lamp on left, Philips “whiter” lamp on right, say no more, save your money!I took it out and replaced them both with LED HID lights.

WhiteVision... not even close.
These bulbs are clearly advertised as white. Well after fitting them I compared the old set to these new so called “WhiteVision” bulbs. White... pull the other one. These have the same yellowish amber hue as the original bulbs I replaced. False advertising to say the least and a waste of money. If you’re able to see photos on this review, then compair for yourself and see what you think. There is clearly hardly any difference between both.3 stars for brightness. They are sidelights so are it meant to be that bright.2 stars for longevity as I have only just fitted them so have no idea how long these will last with real world use.3 stars for easy to install. Well that really depends on the car these are being fitted to. I fitted to an Alfa Romeo 147 and was a bit of a giddily job.Overall, I do not recommend these if you want white lights as they are wrongly marketed. Utter rubbish.

Definately not 'Intense white xenon effect'
Not entirely as advertised. I took a gamble on these for full-beam replacement bulbs, as they are not often used anyway. However, as another review states... these are not the 4300K colour temp you may be expecting. At different points in the listing it does conflictingly state both 3700K and 4300K. Mine turned up and are 3700K, and to my disappointment look nothing like xenon bulbs. They are still distinctively yellow next to my dipped-beam 6000K xenon's. In my opinion the 'Intense white xenon effect' on the listing and the packaging is totally misleading. They may or may not be the closest halogen to a xenon you can buy that are still road legal, but I will be pursuing the DiamondVision 5000K version to see if they are any better and these will be going back.

White light bulbs
Bulbs are the older 3700k not the newer 4300k but still give off a nice white glow rather than most common yellow bulbs. As you can see look much more stylish and give a nice bright beam with good distance at night. Had osram nighbreaker plus 90% before philips white vision look like they have the same light throw and cutoff as before with a whiter light and the bonus of hopefully lasting 450h. Kept the osram as spares.

Look Better Than My OEMs
Although they're called 'Xenon Effect' they don't get near the colour temperature and/or brightness of my actual xenon lights. That being said they are significantly better than the standard off-the-shelf bulbs that were fitted previously, both in terms of brightness and colour. For around a fiver I have no complaints and would purchase the same again.
