Best fryer I’ve ever owned. Make sure the size works for your needs.
Make sure that the size of this cooker works for you. For instance I cooked a two pound bag of fries in it tonight with ease…three pounds might have been a little much. Wings depending on size, prob holds 25/35. After that, this is by far the best fryer I’ve owned. The bowl where the oil cooked is one solid piece that wraps all the way around the outside of the whole unit, leaving no way for oil to get inside the unit. Huge plus! I filled the oil to the max level on the inside of the unit. Even while is was cooking, the oil honestly hardly ever sprayed oil outside of the cooking bowl. Huge plus. Lastly, the drain valve fits right back inside the head of the oil containers to drain down with ZERO spillage! Triple huge plus. You will have to wipe out the drain nozzle with a paper towel or such so it doesn’t drip after shut off. The drain feature is worth the cost alone.

Game changer for home cooking
After purchasing a less expensive, flimsy deep fryer that didn't heat ups, we decided to spend the extra money to purchase this deep fryer. It's heavy duty, heats up quickly, has a large basket, and is easy to clean. You can leave the oil in it for several uses before you need to drain and clean it so we aren't going through as much oil as we used to when we used a dutch oven for frying. The temperature dial isn't super precise so the first time I used it I took some temperatures with a candy thermometer just to know what the temperature of the oil was and know I know where I need to set it to get the right temperature. And the drain is getting a bit clogged so I need to find a flexible brush or something to clean it out. But that being said, having a drain on it is really helpful to get the oil out when you want to clean it. It fits on the counter and we've used it a lot since we purchased it. Food cooks quickly and evenly. Now we don't have to go out for wings, fries, etc. and it's been fun to experiment with recreating food we've had in restaurants.

Love the Fryer, but a bit lopsided or would've gotten 5 STARS
I love the fryer - much better than the other "regular" $100 type of home fryers which I've gone through 4 others in the past. This one is much more on the commercial level. Yes, it's a $300 fryer, but worth it. We use our fryer every week & as the "chief cook" I really like this one far surpassing all the others. Also, I love the oil drain in the front for straining out the old oil for later reuse or eventual removal. My only complaint is while the fryer is level on the counter & not noticeably leaning to the left at all, that the basket leans to the left all the time, whether when on the rack holder on the back or when in the frying oil. Just a pet peeve - it might not bother another, but looking at what looks like the best home commercial fryer all around & then seeing that lean every time I use it takes away from it being 5 STARS. It looks like a manufacturing error.

Don't Recommend Buying this Fryer
Constant problems. We bought four and use one as a back-up. I have been constantly fixing all of them and in many cases it's different problem. Either the Micro Switch or a burned wire or replace heating element. I wouldn't recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to assemble, operate, and clean. Quickly got to desired cooking temperature. Used for an event and had no issues.

Deep Fryer
Used only three times. And works great! The fact that you can drain the oil out of the tank from the bottom is a big plus. I hope I can get a lot of use out of it. It is also built very well. Not cheap.
