I know, how much can you really do to a ball point pen to make it outstanding from the rest... while this one might not knock your socks off with some kind of uniqueness, it is just has a solid, reliable, understated class about it.

Nice pen, smooth writing and it does work in any position.

The pen is great, nice quality materials. I don't know if it is just my pen specifically but there is a little bit of wiggle room (play) when clicking it, it is not a crisp click how some other pens have.

I suppose there are 2 choices with pens: Buy a LOT of cheap ones and toss them away often when they skip or run out...OR buy a pen like this. It writes smoothly, feels good in hand, and refills are reasonably priced. The pen itself is a bit expensive but it feels like it will last.

Not only does this Black Cherry pen look nice, but the cerekote finish provides a nice grip. This well-balanced pen is feels great to hold.

Can't speak to the coating without long term use but I have to note the clicker being the entire fake cap is annoying. Because of this when writing it can catch on the web of the thumb and index finger a bit, not enough to actually retract the tip but you obviously don't want it to move around. I can understand why they used this design because the coating has to be all the way around I guess even though there's still a gap between the cap and the barrel. Also the ink isn't great and kind of skips rather than a solid bold line so two stars deducted.
