Perfect choice for me
As a female purchaser, I ordered a men's waist size that reflects my hip size. They're a great fit around the behind, with a comfortable amount of ease for movement. A bit loose round the waist as you would expect, but the straps keep the whole lot up. I had anticipated that waist pants might be baggy round the waist, and as I don't like wearing belts during manual work, I went for the bib and brace. The pants are very good quality, reassuringly thick and a good length to cover the top of my steelies. It did mean I got very warm after half an hour or so (it was a hot day) but you have to balance these things out. I'm thrilled with them and feel glad about the extra line of defence. Highly recommended. They arrived beautifully packed and sooner than expected.

(Initial assesment) No problems so far ... good value. (updated assesment 25/1/18. A first class Product Highly recommended.
First thing to say is great service from the supplier... next day delivery on this item. I have worn this garment for two four hour sessions using my chainsaws. No problems encountered. If I had one tiny criticism that would be that the zip on the front of the garment looks a little flimsy. I wouldn't have minded paying another couple of pounds for a more robust looking zip... Still is doing the job thus far. The fit is quite good if a little snug. Could be that I need to lose a few pounds. All in all so far I am pleased with my purchase.UPDATE:I have had this product for a year now and they have had quite a bit of use. They are still holding up very well. The zip I was a little concerned with has not failed (and I don't think I have lost weight) So I am still pleased with my purchase.Update. 25/1/2018.I have had the bib and brace for three years now! in the winter they are worn on a daily basis. They are showing a few signs of wear and tear couple of small tears some holes from burning embers the stuff the stops the saw from lopping of a leg is uncompromised and until it is I shallcontinue to wear them........ A first class Product Highly recommended.

Great Bib & Brace
This bib & brace is great quality at a great price. I ordered the XXL size and at 6' 1'' and around 16 1/2 stones, these fit really well. They're comfortable and warm, and there's enough room to wear jeans, thermals and suspenders (?) underneath should you so wish. There's also plenty of adjustment in the braces and couple of inches spare in the leg for the longer legged (probably suit someone up to 6' 4"). I can't comment on the effectiveness of the protection just yet, as I haven't attempted to cut any of my lower limbs off. I'm sure the protection will be up to scratch (so to speak), but I'm rather hoping on not having to find out!

Good product
I tried these in comparison to the Oregon version. These are made from a waterproof type material which I feel will be beneficial with the mess and possibly damp conditions I could be cutting. No evidence yet but feel the material is more robust and easy to wipe down. However, the fabric of the Oregon made them a little more comfortable, easier to put on And maybe more breathable but I don’t think they will wear/last as long.I prefer the pockets on the Rockwoods. Secure zip pocket at rear and easy access pockets to front (unsecured). All the pockets on Oregon are Secured with a little Velcro which I didn’t like. These also have the luminous orange panels and straps. Not so trendy but a good safety feature!Glad I’ve bought them. Will feel more prepared/safe for cutting and will be good insulation for winter work too!

No Brainer. Essential Safety Gear
Like most on this reviewing section I can't say that these work and I rather hope that I never will have that option. However, what I can comment on is that they fit as expected and are comfortable in use. They meet the correct standards and in feel, they are like other chain saw protecting equipment I've tried. I'm sure that if I'm unlucky or stupid enough to try and cut my legs off these pants will stop me from doing it.I did read the first review posted here and the chap has tried these out for real it seems. And is still around to review them so testament to their ability I guess. And lets be honest, using a chain saw can be damned dangerous and for the sake of a few quid, avoiding cutting yourself badly or even fatally is a small price to pay.Essential gear really.

Safety
Good quality and heavy weight but very comfortable to wear and snug. Glad I read reviews and chose next size up as they are very snug fitting and maybe warm for working in with other trousers under but still the real deal for safety protection of legs and upper body

Great quality
Great quality, not too hot, fit well wouldn't want them without the shoulder straps to keep them up. I took the advice that they co.e up a little small and glad I did. One size up fit perfectly.
