I needed a blood red shade of lipstick for my birthday and this set was perfect for my needs. I didn't have any issues with the application - I did use a brush, so I do recomment that method. I moisturized my lips prior to applying it so it went on smoothly and it worked like a charm. The color and pigment were perfect.
