I work in costume so needed portable storage for sewing materials and equipment that could also be used as a seat out on location. Great sturdy box with lots of compartments. I also like that you can adjust the compartment sizes in the tray, removing the little dividers where needed. The outer side pockets give you even more easy access storage. The box comes with a thin foam layer glued to the lid and can't be removed but the backpack attachment comes with another cushion that sits on top. Overall I would say it is comfortable but not for sitting all day. The backpack straps are also lightly cushioned but I'm not going to put anything particularly heavy in the box and I won't be walking very long with it on my back so this doesn't bother me. There is also a seperate shoulder strap. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I'm yet to take it out in the elements but I'm sure it will be fine as it seems well made. Also cat approved >.<

Love this box! Brilliant solution for someone with a bad back who loves to fish. It's 10 times more comfortable carrying my gear on my back in this box than lugging 2 heavy bags about, which I had to do before. As well as making reaching my marks easier, I now have a dry comfortable place to rest instead of getting a soggy bum and struggling to rest/recover. The more expensive fishing boxes are bigger & heavier and would be too much for me and my back. The amount of gear I can fit into this box is fantastic and plenty for a shore anglers needs. It holds bags full of gear, reels, hooks, clips, a ton of metal and rubber lures, bait box, wet wipes, lamp, rig wallet, scissors, towel, chopping board & knife, floats, spools of line and shock leaders. It's deceptive how much you can fit in a small space with the ruck sack pockets, and on your back in the rucksack it becomes lightweight. The only thing that stops me giving this 5 stars is the quality of the clips. They don't feel as sturdy as the rest of the construction and as they are under the most stress and most use I am a little concerned that they might not stand up to the test of time, but they may (hopefully) prove me wrong. Overall would 100% recommend this product to anyone but especially if you struggle with your back or mobility/health, it's a perfect solution.

First thing that struck me was how well designed this set up is. The box is strong and easily holds my fat rear! The harness is also strong and reasonably comfortable to carry, the pockets built in to the harness are functional and quite roomy and will take most of your bits and bobs that otherwise end up rolling around the bottom of the tackle box. My only criticism, perhaps unfairly is that the padding on the seat is very thin but for me this isn’t too much of an issue but also the box, as a seat, is a little low and would benefit from, maybe two or three inches higher. However, I am 6ft tall and have very dodgy knees so again, although it doesn’t suit me, it won’t be a problem for other people.

I have a second box without the backpack attachment and it's awkward to carry. This one is great for my back, really comfortable and lets me carry a heavy load easily. I was a bit concerned the buckles wouldn't hold so I tested it out by overfilling the box with more lead than I'd usually carry and it worked great. The straps and stitching are all great quality and really strong, the shoulder straps are comfortable and the extra pockets are handy for carrying extra spools of line, weights ect. I got this for my wife so I could take even more potentially needless stuff fishing and we're both very happy with it. The box itself is also very good quality and I'd definitely recommend this over the other seat box backpacks which will cost quite a bit more.

I used to carp fish a lot and started sea fishing. Needed a lightweight box, seat, that was easy to carry. Looked at other well known branded boxes that look exactly the same as this one and they were 3 times the price. This box is epic. The rucksack part has loads of sturdy pockets. Have walked a fair distance with it over my shoulders and it doesn't rub. The smaller top lid holds enough for a long session or a quick trip. Bottom compartment has enough space for a small tackle box and 2/3 reels. Not sure if it is supposed to be used for this, but on the back of the rucksack part, the part that sits on the middle of your back in a rectangle pocket, perfect for the right size chopping board. All in all, great buy, not big name branded but works perfectly. Who needs to spend top dolla when the cheaper brands do the same thing. One slight dislike is that the top box snap clip broke very quickly. It still snaps shut and holds, but when you open it, it now falls off. Doesnt effect the box thought as the rucksack clips also keep everything tight from coming open.
