For us they are worth having. We accompany our pets to the patio (concrete floor) every morning with a hot cup of coffee, which stays hot over the ensuing 30 minutes to hour of play time. If knocked off a table, they do not break as ceramic undoubtably would. For us the Yeti mugs have been worth the price.

Q: I can't "add to cart or buy now" for the 10 oz rambler in harvest red. the other colors work fine. can i not buy this one?

They're probably out of that color. Try going to the Yeti website, they'll probably have it and you can order it direct.

Q: How do I clean under the magnetic slide part? There is coffee and cream collecting under there and it is gross.

The magnet just pulls off. You can stick your finger through the hole when it is closed to help pop it off. I always take my magnets off when I wash the mugs. I wash the magnets too.
