i read this book with a constant tight pain in my chest, my heart literally aching! i became attached to these characters so quickly, jessa’s writing is magic! ridiculously addictive. the thought behind all the characters was so well thought out from the little details of all their outsides to all the personality traits and mannerisms. they all felt so real to me. this whole world jessa has created is just incredible. the banter in this book was unmatched, i was literally laughing at out loud! i literally fell for every man in this book it seems, all such smooth mf’s and so charming! at times i did want to bump their heads together and scream at them to just be together. it was all quite toxic but honestly, i love them all so much!! my heart broke a million times for them, but it was done so beautifully. the ending.. i just didn’t expect it at all. i’m excited to read more books in this universe and carry on reading about their journey. i’m hoping for a happily ever after in the end, because i’m such a hopeless romantic at heart. tropes: * childhood friends * insta-love until it all goes wrong * soulmates x toxic relationships * multiple love interests * soulmates

The back and forth between the main characters and back in time to present was quite annoying. The characters were all pretty entertaining and I enjoyed the story

the characters were extremely unlikeable and the plot had not much to it but the 2 main characters constantly arguing, making up and using other people to numb their own pain. any person with common sense would get very frustrated by the toxicity in this book😭 definitely not a cute romance but an annoying story about 2 very unstable co dependant people and not in a romantic way xxx feel bad for tom he was the best char<3 an alright book that kept me engaged

Even their toxicity. Even the will they? Won't they? Even the love triangle. And I'm absolutely over the moon that the end wasn't predictable. How is this Jessa's debut? She's a firecracker of an author, is what she is! The characters are perfection! Even in their incredibly annoying imperfection! Boohoo rich boy and girl fighting off their codependency while drinking, shopping, sexing and doing drugs. How could I possible care about them? How? Because Jessa is amazing! And I hate her for it. Kidding. I loved hating those characters and their ridiculous choices. Every single second of it! And that ending? Yes! Yes! Yes! The twist wasn't shocking because I kind of had an inkling... But the retelling of it was pretty freaking shocking and cruel and perfect. Because we humans are both good and evil, right? Yes, onto my next book from Mrs Hastings!

4.5/5🌟 "How many loves do you get in a lifetime?" • 🐝•🖤 This book is so different from the rest. So addictive and so easy to get lost in. The writing was incredible, i don't think there is a word that exists to truly do it justice. There are so many good quotes that will stick with me forever.

Maybe I’m abit old for this book as I realise how toxic it is, but if I remover to when I was younger I properly would have put up with a relationship like this. I think k I liked it lol it’s hard to say. I finished the series and need to know how it ends. I like how it’s written but the characters frustrated me at time, magnolia more than anyone.

Really hooking and the perfect combination of drama and gossip to make the perfect story set in a world of the rich and famous. Has a shocking plot twist at the end that I couldn't have guessed for the life of me. The romance was so tense I love it

3.5 star If you love toxic romance novels, this is for you. I got annoyed with the characters a lot. The back and forth got tiring. I see a lot of people praise the writing style but some things were quite repetitive. Overall not a bad read,different from the cliche romance novels. Anyways I am going to read book 2 and continue with the series.
