I'm an art major currently studying comics and narrative design in the US. Satania was one of my first book purchases for research this year, and it's definitely something I would recommend reading once if you like or are interested in indie comics. just be aware of the content before purchasing. this comic is best described as Dante's inferno with a sci-fi twist, and despite the art style it's not something I would ever recommend for younger readers. On a practical basis, the book is bound well. There are no offset printing problems and the hard binding will make sure that the book itself will last. I should warn that the book is a little larger than the standard size, but the purchase itself is well worth it. if you're interested in more comics using the traditional watercolor medium, the team responsible for Satania has produced a few different series in recent years. not all of them are available in English at the moment, but beautiful darkness is usually considered a good place to start. Review: Well worth the purchase - It's been so hard to find this book in good quality, but I'm VERY pleased with how the book looks.

Something felt off throughout and I don't know if its a bad translation or if there's something hidden beneath the surface ...
A weird descent below ground by the team behind "Beautiful Darkness" and "Beauty." The art and coloring is as gorgeous as ever but I'm hesitant on the writing. Something felt off throughout and I don't know if its a bad translation or if there's something hidden beneath the surface that I'm missing here. It'll take a few more reads before I'm fully made up but even if I find not deeper meaning behind it all its a worthwhile purchase for its stunning visuals alone.

A Dazzling Journey
Every page of Satania draws you deeper into an increasingly, breathtaking and imaginative world. Ripe with subtext and ambiguity, the story does not spell out a single moral interpretation. Instead, the reader is invited to look back over Charlie's journey into the depths of hell (and adulthood) and accept that some things are too big to be reduced to a single point of view.

I like it but I didn't love it.
It felt a little confusing for me. I love the surreal world and art style. But I wish the writing was a little better.

値段が高くない。ビニールがないまま封筒に入れたので破れちゃってちょっと残念。ストーリと絵がきれい。英語あまりよくないが翻訳ソフトを利用しながら、なんとか意味わかった。

Like Journey To The Centre Of The Earth but an increasingly exotic and strange hell is waiting for the team. The characters hardly ever seem as worried as you'd expect them to be but this is really fantastic, the colors are particularly good.
